Because the government has not said it won’t is not exactly reliable, is it? When have the government ever said anything concrete regarding making a decision. Not once in 63 months.
Ministers are either on holiday, or busy with electioneering to progress / save their careers.
The Kallak file will be in a bittom drawer gathering dust.
The make up of the new government will not change the Swedish dna. They will not grant the concession to a foreign company, and they do not need to, unless Kurt goes legal.
Thus far, he has shown no appetite for such a move.

As CEO, Kurt is obliged to take that ambivalent stance.
However, the course of action he takes will be based on his own knowledge and beliefs in conjunction with the past 63 months of evidence.
He must act decisively after the election, whatever he believes. He can not just continue to wait and hope. That won’t be good enough, in my opinion.

Why the urgency for the further request for information back in March? The responses produced nothing new. A decision could have been made any time in the past 2 years. In that time, literally nothing has changed.

What does Kurt do 3 months after the election, when there is still no decision?

Having called last month’s AGM in Stockholm, I was hopeful Kurt would pull a significant rabbit out of the hat.
It turned out to be a non event. Added to the fact Kurt had already said there would be no decision before the election, BEM must expect the SP to slide much further.
What else could anyone realistically expect?
Without the graphite and the Finnish grant money, the SP might already be at 3p, in my opinion.
I doubt Kurt will be able to have meetings until after the election, now that the Swedes are both on holiday and in the hustings season.
Kurt has to decide what to do with Kallak. It really is becoming a commercial liability rather than an opportunity.
Those investors here who may still be wearing rose tints should look at how politicians really behave in relation to prevailing laws with regards to Brexit. Laws and democracy come a poor second to personal avarice and ambition.
Juncker is literally drunk on his own power, and we are picking up the tab.
The swedes will do what they want, when they want. I read through the application process a few weeks ago. It really is designed to look so appealing to would be investors / exploration companies.

Trump’s speech at the NATO summit was fabulous. He’s seen how weak the U.K. is in relation to Brexit and how easily we are getting pushed around by the EU, so he’s joined in with his own mischievous statement.
The real debate should have been finalised before the referendum, not reluctantly started two years after the vote.

MPs have shown the electorate how politics works in practice. The illusion of democracy stemming from regular general elections is fantasy. MPs do exactly what benefits their own ideologies.
Meanwhile, civil servants are pursuing their own agenda while the politicians are in disarray. They are drafting even closer ties to EU rules and advancing plans for an combined federal army, navy and airforce.
I’m not joking. It’s all on official government websites. The referendum, it seems to me was designed to create panic and confusion on all sides, whilst the global agenda gathers pace.
Watch out for the removal of more and more civil liberties and the increasing subservience and bias in the Tory owned press.
My favourite novelists, George Orwell and Cormac McCarthy will be proved 100% correct.
The general public are becoming irrelevant to the global agenda.

The country was down to it’s last 270 fighter planes when victory was secured.
The debt of gratitude should be expressed by everyone in and from this country today and for all time.

I am seriously struggling to think of a single success she can put her name to as PM, other than allow in fighting on a grand scale, try and con the public endlessly ( strong and stable ha ha )and cost us all £1.5 billion to buy a handful of votes from the DUP, to keep her afloat, all of which would have been unnecessary had she done what she repeatedly said and not call a snap election. Her lack of judgment and self awareness is breathtaking.
Just compare the text of her speech in Florence a few short months ago with what she believes she agreed ( not ) at the weekend at Chequers. Chalk and cheese.
I much prefer reliable substance over meaningless aims and objectives.

How on earth can the hunchback queen gain agreement from 27 other countries over this flawed draft plan, when she can't even obtain backing from her own cabinet of gutless jobsworths?

I don’t profess to be especially knowledgeable about the Russian electorate, but there does seem to me to be a fundamental difference between the U.K. and Russia.
Here, we are let down by an incompetent, self-serving government which is continually empowered by the electorate’s low levels of engagement in all things political.
In Russia, there is a well founded fear of the political rulers, which promotes subservience to the elite and their oligarchs. U.K. leaders are to be pitied and reviled, certainly not feared.
