He needs to get his finger out right now and demand either a decision or a written reason why the decision is being withheld. What is so difficult about that?
I have lost my enthusiasm for intending to but back in if the concession is awarded. The current board is impotent and lacking in intent. No point waiting until the end of June. The swedes don’t get into gear until October after the summer break, so that would mean another 4 months minimum.

The OECD meeting is just another distraction. The government are in a position, as they have been for yonks, to announce a decision. They won't though. Not can't. Won't.

It is entirely reasonable - and we appear to be dealing with what is not unreasonable at the moment - to say that the mine should be in production by now.

The before the summer is a concoction, a fiction, a mirage, a conceit. As a deadline, it has no substance. A throwaway comment from an increasingly forlorn KB. That is all it is.
The swedes have literally never , in over 6 years, made a single comment about a timescale except to say they do not know how long the decision will take, despite being in a position to make that decision for the past 2 years or more.

After last week’s meeting where prioritising the application translated into we can’t say how long it will take to make a decision, it’s obvious the strategy of keeping the decision in the pending tray will persist.
The lack of RNS after the meeting also tells it’s own story. Kurt has nothing worth reporting. Investors had to rely on a Swedish media report.
As far as The chairman and the Swedish advisory board are concerned, they may as well all be Sami for the contribution they have made. Appalling.

There must be a way to obtain the decision and Kurt needs to find it, and fast.
Repeated dilution and squandering cash raised at discounted prices on, frankly capricious adventures which are, at best, many years from production is a displacement activity to show at least there is something happening.
Although Kurt should get hammered at the AGM, I doubt he will. Any investor with any sense will have written off money tied up here.
He should have been questioned last year but the AGM was a non event.

Anything and everything is used as an excuse for delay. Of course the EU elections are the current reason.
More fundamentally, the grudging and repeated acknowledgement of the inadequacy of the process over the past 12 months is another.
Having sort of agreed that a more streamlined ( one stop shop - ha ha ) system would be preferable, of course all the attention over the coming months, years, decades will be chuntering on about the fine detail of this wonderful new, improved process.
In the meantime, pending applications will receive no attention.
Please understand, Suzy, any statements, like saying our application is receiving priority is simply pretending to engage and keep protests away, lending a more comfortable gloss to their country damaging atrophy.

I take issue with ed44 over the “SP will skyrocket due to a tight market on AIM if the concession is granted.
1. For every buyer there is a seller
2. There will be plenty of sellers ( liquidity ) at very modest gains in SP. People who will be so glad to get out of this appalling share, after years of inertia.
BTW, all that, in my opinion,is theoretical as I do not believe BEM in it’s current guise will be awarded the concession
