Priorities in legalise is utterly meaningless. Sounds good, but does not oblige the user if the term to anything specific.
One term which has crept into common commercial use which is very similar is “ We will endeavour to...”
Sounds encouraging but is meaningless.
If challenged, you are simply told well we did endeavour to, but... and there ain’t jack sh*t you can do because what they said means nothing.

Kurt’s statement about it not being unreasonable to expect a decision before the summer would not have even registered with the swedes.
If he had said I have a written commitment from the swedes that they will communicate a decision on the mining license for Kallak North before the summer, then that would actually mean something.

If Kurt waits until 21 June and no decision is made, then he effectively says to investors I will try again at the end of September, which is the next available opportunity.
He needs to be nailing the swedes now for a commitment to a decision by a week Friday. Without that written commitment he needs to be moving onto the legal option immediately, waiting another 4 months is piling more damage on the company.

I wish I had a fiver for every time I have tried to explain the swede’s Strategy.

Coming down off the fence to say no would have resulted in a legal challenge which the company would win and would represent the only way to embarrass the government. THEY CAN’T SAY NO.
THEY WON’T SAY YES, because they want the prize for themselves and the passing of years is meaningless to them.
So they do nothing and the company allows it.
To retain any realistic hope of a positive decision is, in my view, very silly and misguided.

As doing absolutely nothing is the strategy, time is irrelevant to the swedes, but not to BEM and it’s investors.

If you are a maximum of 13 working days in this 1600 working day saga away from a clear decision on Kallak, why is the SP not rising in anticipation, as it has done in the past?

There are almost 1600 working days since the application was submitted and some 300 working days since the last submission of information.
Clearly, nothing is going to happen, as the government have had nothing to stop them making a decision for a long long time.
Why wat until after the 21 June? Kurt needs to be showing intent to grab the agenda by the b*lls now. His before the summer comment will hurt his reputation, which is already in decline.
