Why Budge, Farm, Littorin persist with the embarrassing procession of feeble letters and emails, which, for years, have been ignored or swatted away, is beyond me.
Having stated publicly that Kallak is not a matter for UNESCO, surely Budge must immediately challenge their decision to conduct a technical review, whether this is UNESCO's decision or at Baylan's invitation in order to achieve further delay.
He won't though, will he. Probably just send another email - pfft!

UNESCO is a global bureaucracy with an agenda. When such an organisation chooses to make something it’s business enough to conduct a “technical review” you can be sure they have done so in order to avoid any challenge to the outcome, which is the objective of most such reviews.
The best you can hope for is a conclusion which puts UNESCO squarely on the fence.
Something along the lines of:
“ The findings of the technical review show that it would be impossible to determine what effect, direct or indirect, any proposed mine at Kallak could have on the preservation of the natural and cultural heritage and importance of Laponia “
UNESCO off the hook and back to Baylan to sit on until the election, when a new enterprise and innovation prevention minister pitches up.

UNESCO has no business conducting a "technical review" in relation to a proposed mine at Kallak, some 20 miles outside the agreed, designated territory of Laponia.

That is stating the bleeding obvious Suzy. There has been no justifiable reason not to announce a decision for the past 8 years, has there?
Just because UNESCO are now involved doesn't change these buffoons' motivation, does it. They have no intention of making a decision. Never have and never will with Budge hiding behind the sofa....

I can’t agree with your praise for Budge’s unimpeachable behaviour? Doing nothing but wait, in my opinion, does not amount to the actions of a CEO determined to break down an implacable adversary, particularly as doing nothing is exactly what said adversary wants!!
Additionally, repeating ineffective behaviour ( letter writing and emails ) is not going to crack this and demeans the office of CEO.
There should be no reliance on the application, which the swedes have made null and void. Investors have been in uncharted territory for 3 or 4 years now. A much more radical and imaginative approach is required from the CEO.

He has been spectacularly unimpressive in getting anyone to meet with so far. Never met Damberg or Baylan.

Budge needs no help from me in convincing people he is making zero progress. Time for him to act is 3 or 4 years overdue. Waiting, sending the odd letter is pointless. Budge needs a rocket up his backside. Act now or move over and let someone else take the reins.

At the back end of last year, when Budge wanted your dosh, he was upbeat about a very busy and exciting 2021, with progress in all three territories. What a joke. There is nothing happening. Where’s all the money gone that Budge has chucked at Kosovo?
A MOU in Finland without even applying for a mining concession is premature, in my opinion.
Budge is floundering around and repeatedly milking funding on the back of the size and quality of the Kallak resource, which Sweden has no intention of allowing to be disturbed by BEM.
That is all he has achieved in getting on for seven years.
How can you have any pride as a CEO when all you do, year after year, is milk other people to allow you to sit on your hands and wait.
It is a disgrace.
The legal option is the only option. Difficult yes, but inevitable as the only option other than walking away, as Sweden hold all the cards.

I’d forget about Beowulf right now. I said last November that Baylan would coast through to the next election unchallenged, and he will.
The letter to UNESCO would certainly be worded in such a way as to coerce them to spend the maximum amount of time mulling it over. You can rest assured that Baylan will sit on any reply, once received.
The KU enquiry, whilst damning of him and his predecessor has passed into history without any attached sanction on Baylan. He’s home free, in my opinion.

Letters have been proven several times to be ineffective. They are easily deflected / ignored by Baylan, and would be by the PM. The two are equally paralysed by political fears of losing power and career momentum.
The request by Budge for a timescale for a decision is laughably naiive after 8 years, in my opinion.

Suzy2. If you don't agree that the SAB have made no effective contribution, presumable that's because you can list all their achievements for us?

Re my post 24 hours ago, no corrections, so the SAB are not contributing either.
My money is on the next thing announced by Budge will be a further wedge to Kosovo to take the holding to over 50% and the preparation for him to move over there full time.
