Here's my take. UNESCO have already replied saying "nowt to do with us"
Whilst not disclosing the reply, the swedes are clear to progress projects deemed politically acceptable, which does not include Kallak.

The difference is that no politics are involved in this decision.

As ever, nothing is happening except what is in some LTH's imagination. It's probably time for you all to get your heads together and devise the next delusional "deadline" so you can get excited for absolutely no reason.

I meant legitimately hide behind, in the swedes minds. Of course, anything legitimate about what's going on here ended long ago, probably moments after receipt of the application almost 8 years ago.

It seems to me that the KU investigation, although excoriating in it's review of the appalling treatment the application has, and continues to receive, is just the latest example of the swedes pretending to engage with their own process.
In reality, it is the now familiar ploy of duping investors into believing justice does exist and, indeed a decision must now be " forthcoming"
In reality, the process is still stalled, and now UNESCO are involved, the swedes can legitimately hide behind yet another disinterested bureaucracy which is about as pro mining ( of any kind ) as darling Greta herself.

All investors are sick of the lies and politics.
At least we can agree on that, but the last person i would choose to scapegoat is Eric Draven esquire, who has stood staunchly by his investment here through thick and predominantly thin.
I would rather trust a proper ( Cornish ) bloke in a cable knit than some loud mouthed t*sser in a bright blue suit and tan brogues bellowing into a smartphone.

I use youtube purely for the musical content.
I consider all social media as part of the dumbing down process essential to world leaders on a planet massively overpopulated. Our leaders must laugh heartily at us squabbling over our own view of reality conveyed via a small screen inches from our face.

The CEO spent the final 4 months ( his words ) of 2020 organising the placing, and mounting an unconvincing PR campaign trying to sell the company as a multi resource opportunity to investors.
Now he has the £6m cash pile, thanks to desperate and crazily loyal private investors, and a continuing impasse on Kallak, he is nowhere to be seen, other than the odd and increasingly embarrassing cut and paste interview with some nobody who gets a handful of YouTube views.
When is he going to fulfil the role of CEO and deal with the swedes in a businesslike and effective manner?
Or is he going to fritter away the £6m as he has done before and come crawling back for more when it’s gone, without progress on the only reason the placing was a success - Kallak.
Please do not engage with the content of this post if all you have to say is Kurt is doing a great job and what more can he do. Doesn’t wash with me.

I don't think Baylan could afford to be openly anti concession in a 3 way meeting without following up with a negative decision. This could be a good outcome since Budge would have the perfect justification to go legal.
Should the Sami be prepared to talk turkey it could well be Baylan who is outvoted.

Time for Budge to earn his corn is long overdue. How about Budge calls a three way meeting - company, Sami and Baylan.
All hands visubke on the table and Budge to state that a conclusion to suit all parties must now be reached and point out to the Sami that opposing any mine purely on principal is not a winning strategy.
The applucation is legally watertight. Budge must extract agreement on that point which jylust leaves an accommodatiin which appeases the Sami and allows Baylan to grant the concwssion.
If engagement with their own process is rejected then legal action must be 'on the table'for all to see.

The KU's findings were welcome to investors, I'm sure, and incontrovertible. What is not clear ( or at least I am not clear ) is whether this report represents a gun to Baylan's head with the message " Look Bozo, you've had a watertight application plus all manner of supplementary information for years. Make a decision now "
Baylan still gives the impression of someone completely disengaged from the remaining shreds of the application process.
The KU should denounce his move to consult UNESCO as a flagrant further delaying tactic and simply instruct him to make the decision. If they don't / can't then their report is clearly no more than advisory.

My thoughts are Baylan's focus is entirely on keeping his current job and securing his next one by not turning any potential voter against him. And he achieves that by avoiding putting his nbame to anything remotely contentious. It worked just fine for Damberg.
As far as Lofven is concerned, he is another " keep it all at arm's length and for goodness sake never ever make a decision which could be challenged at law "
Do you remember a couple of years ago, Lofven made a brief, low key personal visit to the Kallak area and met with Sami leaders and no-one else - no local MPs regional publi sector leaders or business representatives. The visit was never explained, and, of course Budge never questioned it. Stinks to high heaven, in my opinion.

He said same as he always does. It’s all so complex and there are competing interests. But UNESCO is his big excuse going forward.
He got yet another free hit last Friday, exactly as I knew he would.
Budge should be crucifying this guy. But no, he’s sitting on £6 million at investor’s expense, and his own comfortable life is just fine and dandy.
