Morning Krone - yes there is always that risk. Sierra and GSK royally screwed CRT/CPF and Sareum last time but there were other factors in play. I am hoping that this is a straight line route to trials/market this time subject to no unknown issues being evident. IMO it is quite late in the process to be shelved and would have to be RNS'd. Dr. Parker seemed quite upbeat to me and stated twice that "as soon as we know, you will all know within 24hrs". I fully accept that this could also mean negative news. Glass half full here.

....and we begin the run-in to news. I am encouraged by the fact that 737 remains with our mystery BIO who must know by know what it has. The AGM is on the 19th and, as ever, we hope for news ahead of this. Although a good Q&A session may well take place anyway as we are so close to a few notable events leading in to January. I cannot see too many investors wanting to sell unless they have to - which is perfectly understandable. The sp might fluctuate a little but many shares are in sticky hands. All good here thus far

I understand your point Warty but they are all governed by the terms of the deal which states - unequivocally - that the deal will be met either by achievement of milestone or 12 months whichever is the sooner. It was RNS'd by Sareum the first week of Jan 24 so we may presume that it gets a) handed back, b) reaches a milestone shortly or c) gets settled by first week in Jan 25.

Certainly for Sareum as an interested party, and under NDA, it is price sensitive and may it well be in the US if there is a fourth party waiting in the wings. So after almost 12 months it doesn't seem to not be reaching a satisfactory milestone but the 12 month clause ensures that action must be taken one way or the other. I would hazard a guess that the first week in January will see a RNS (good or bad)

Hi Aber - I don't think that they will have started yet. I am sure that John Reader stated it was a 16 week process and to add on 6-8 weeks for the results being written up etc: and he gave an overall completion date or "around June next year". It suggests to me that the trail might start early in the New Year. I would be delighted to be shown to be wrong though.

They all p1ss in the same pot Warty. "The Establishment" are bureaucratic bullies and highly litigious. Having dealt with HMCTS (probate twice) DWP, DVLA and Local Authorities it is clear that most of the time these departments kick the can down the road until you formally complain (twice). They do not do joined up management and it takes a lot to challenge them. I have no doubt that MHRA are the same. All blame Government cuts etc: etc: but their communication systems are just not fit for purpose. The hounding of carers is just unforgiveable. Apologies! Rant over!

I wouldn’t worry too much about Funnyguy - to be fair to him he doesn’t post too often and he just has an opinion like the rest of us.

Yesterday’s YouTube video with Dr Parker was extremely encouraging and we should all be looking forwards to further news. I am convinced that Sareum have a few irons in the fire - whether they come to fruition or not is another matter. All good here so far and things definitely looking up as we move towards news and a busy 2025

Excellent find Krone and well worth a listen. Straight from the horses mouth. Interesting to note that 1801 will probably go forwards in psoriasis but they are not closed-minded about going forwards with another disease as well. Sareum see "multiple applications" for 1801. 1802 to be advanced through pre-clinical going into 2025 and 737 with a Californian based Bio. Sareum obviously know exactly who it is with and Dr. Parkers body language was quite bullish with an update expected by first week in January or at the announcement of commencement of trial.

Dr. Parker stumbled a bit with the tox: study and tried to balance his comments so as not to give anything away with regards to any potential Ph2 partner. Very happy. Cheap as chips and a £33m market cap:

Some decent buying going on and it looks as though the brakes are being eased a little. Maybe we have turned a corner after Investival and ahead of news and the JPM event in January. Beginning to warm up!

If the board feel the offer is worth considering then the share will be suspended followed by a shareholder vote to accept or reject. Share suspension and share re-admission is preceded by a RNS. During suspension other offers can be considered if they come in.

Great post HBD - in addition, the Financial Act after the crash decreed that all Financial services should retain sufficient liquid assets to cover their liabilities. This includes brokers. It doesn’t take the brains of a rocket scientist to work out that the Brokers take in the cash and then trash the sp which means less liability and less liquid asset to find.
