Guessing games are no good for anyone.

We don't know how close Nielle is to a maiden value and obviously we don't know what that value will be.

Nielle could be 20 weeks from a valuation or could just need numbers finalising and a report putting together when it was put on hold we have absolutely no idea.

However if the target of between 500k to 1m ounces is hit, this has a large value which is not currently included anywhere in these valuations.

Plus the other gold fields were being advanced too before being put on hold for lithium at Bougouni none of us know their updated stages.

Then of course there are these 2,000 lithium drill samples which could arrive before the RNS, are they defining outer edges or will they add to the current jorc?

All of these facts will become clear in the following weeks, not 12 months time.

When you know all of this some predictions may be easier.

A gold NPV of 400m plus would change things.

RB, you could not have paid that amount if you were invested for 5 years as you initially said.

Croq, negative/positive are not categories that people should be placed in. Currently in every area of life everything has gone a bit football type mentality, win lose, right wrong.
Anyone who has invested must have seen something to make them invest otherwise clearly they have an issue.

Most of the serious investors think in terms of NAV and NPV, under normal circumstances the share price will follow.

The problem I see are those who don't know the difference.

When companies spend millions drilling or continuing with a concession down the derisking process normally it is for good reason not hunches or guesses.

If a drone attack on the Kremlin changes the world and impacts this company, it is hardly Merc, Bernard or Hainan got anything wrong.
Although the current mentality will no doubt point the finger somewhere, it seems to be the way today.

Jorc resources, BFS with an NPV and maiden jorc values are very real, as can be seen by Hainan's interest and investment.

By the way, as long as people can afford to lose all of their investment, I think investing £200-£500 on AIM especially if young to learn is the way to go.
Even if a person lost £500 each year while learning it is a cheap hobby. Cheaper than golf, football or many other hobbies.
Only by being in do you learn.
With a small amount over 10 years it is possible to build up decent investment capital to play with.
But never think you have it cracked and risk too much.
So don't think that a small investor would be looked down upon.

RB, you are bang on, if you put your money in the bank you could have had the same return in a cash ISA in 31 years, so you would only have 26 left to go.
Of course if you adjusted that for inflation your money would be worth less than the £200 you invested, but hey ho.

The RNS could be seen as confirmation everything is progressing for those glass half full investors, the glass half empty or nervy investors may see it differently, I don't know.

Some guys touched on it yesterday, it is the want everything today crowd who tend to drift about between shares. A convenience world leaks through to investing and other aspects of life.

Compo, it is not simply admin, everything owned and attributed to one company has to be moved to another one.
Mining companies in Mali have to be set up under a particular structure, so every explorer moving to miner would have to follow this process.
Permits, contracts with contractors insurance etc all have to be changed too. This is no small task.
The date was optimistic to say the least.

Yes Daz, for me the biggest risk on AIM is the ability for companies to change their name.
History remains with the previous company name.
I have seen a few where investors think they are investing in something fresh, rather than a massive failure which changed direction but does not have the initial share capital to finance their new venture.

With lithium drilling over the following 12 months and just one of the goldfields being on or above target we could be looking at an NPV of over 2bn dollars?

How do you know what a good share price is, until you have everything revalued and up to date?

Yes Daz, unless they have a completely new project in mind it has to be gold.

Decent Goldfields have NPVs around the same and above our initial 21m tonne lithium NPV.

It totally depends what the Nielle jorc returns, but we could be 50/50 value with our lithium today and our Nielle jorc when it is completed.

Of course we are expecting to add a lot of lithium to our original tally and the lithium value rises when we are in the construction phase.
