Daz, it is a comprehensive gold presentation.

It is easy to forget that Resolute mining were in a JV with us for Nielle and two other concessions, I believe they had options to take up to 75% of the income. But they were of enough interest for a mining company to have a JV with us, so these are not tin pot potential gold fields.

Looking back Kodal gave them an extension of two years earlier, from 2019 to 2021, but in 2021 revoked the JV when Resolute had not fulfilled their side of the bargain - I remember the 2021 revoke, but took no notice of the earlier extension, it was probably due to COVID.

Following on from our previous gold conversation I would say that the March 2021 presentation is probably the best pre lithium pause source of information for Nielle goldfield which is close to a maiden value.

Nielle was well drilled from this point right through into 2022.

As you said Daz, they are targeting a 500k to 1m Oz gold target on this site.
If they achieve that, with the Hainan funding I reckon that asset could be worth 80m plus.

Obviously more if taken to production.

That will be an interesting update when it arrives.

Chip dale, I don't think that they will do that before production. I expect once they start production they may use a percentage of their production income to purchase and dispose of shares. It is common on AIM. Often the RNS is headed transaction in own shares.

I would not invest in anything I had doubts about.

The spread has dropped for a moment, some may get back in with a small increase in their holding.

January RNS, use of funds covers a little of the gold. But there is something about maintaining licences elsewhere.

Only king, I can't remember where I saw it, but all of them were maintained, I think it was at the end of a lithium RNS.

Scoopy not good if anyone sold on the drop and wanted back in.

Cheers for the info, only because the lithium is potentially massive is the gold relatively and possibly lower value, the gold prospects have not changed.

Stephen 11 it is Nielle which is nearing a maiden jorc value, I think within 12 to 16 weeks before being placed on hold. Unless it was placed on hold earlier than the RNS to us.
So as far as I am aware Nielle is the only one that he must have a very good idea of value already.
SP Angel recently mentioned a good gold resource which only needs proving. A jorc maiden value is the proof.

Hello elcobble, that was the original data, I think before our drilling.
But I am certain that Bernard was not going to consider goldfields under a minimum threshold.
Like Daz said that threshold is way back somewhere.
I am trying to gather data post 21 and preferably post Bernard knowing about Hainan to try and cleanse away the previous plan data.
Post data states that they are hoping to prove a sizeable jorc. Nielle is close to a maiden jorc value, so you would think their expectations are above this minimum threshold.
Otherwise you would not say 'sizeable'

Yes Daz, it was the basis of the ASX business which merged with Kodal on AIM.
However the first goldfield initially was going to be monetised to form part of the lithium funding, then other funding was expected to complete the lithium start up.
Then as you say Lithium income to develop gold fields, we assume Fatou is hoped to be the massive project.
Lithium went nuts, they found more than they thought they were going to and the rest is history.
But we have some high value fragments, as you say, which most of us are just ignoring.
Everything is important if we are trying to predict the net asset value of the business, then predicting SP/ market cap from this.
You don't know what a good price is if you don't know the value of what you are considering selling.

Daz, regarding resource size, I remember something similar.
But to avoid incorrect data, I will find it.

The sizeable jorc was a recent update, therefore it would be reasonable to assume that they are expecting a jorc higher than their minimum.

Daz, I have been going back through historic data and interviews but focussing on after Bernard knew about the offers, but we did not.
Regarding gold on the website, relating only to gold it says they a 'sizeable jorc' - (still not finalized before anyone gets excited).
Daz my question, was it you who highlighted from way back that Bernard had minimum jorc thresholds that he was going to work with?
Can you remember the minimum size resource?

Paris, regarding the break, careful you do not miss the RNS.
The previous one was, maybe a 10th, rather than 11th hour cancellation but it was late.

Daz that is probably the toughest part now, remembering the past and what no longer applies, gold part funding the lithium project as an example.
Then remembering what was said after Bernard knew the Hainan and other offers and what still applies.
Originally we were looking to fund a 150m plus project off the bat, monetising gold and from another source.
The offtake may have a prepayment of production which could have been the other source.
Until the offtake deals are revealed after the Hainan deal is concluded we will not know.
How much of that was going to be funded by a sale of Nielle?
Until we get to the maiden value we will not know.
There could be some substantial value around the corner.

Cheers Daz, I don't think they will issue more shares, simply that broker can have direct dialogue with Kodal board, because they are on the board and a potential investor may have an opportunity to join the board if they brought anything to the table. Alternatively a large investor may just have a good relationship with Cannacord and by merit of Cannacord being on the board and have an established line of communication, be more willing to invest.
Cannacord may have been pushed that way by their clients, I doubt we will ever know.
