They are two different things.

The long stop and 7m break free are all to do with Hainan or Kodal pulling out of the deal. This is all worded up in a legal contract.

An accountant completing reregistration of assets beyond the long stop date would not trigger a break in the agreement.

The long stop would simply be extended.

If Kodal had a job to do and refused to do it, that could trigger a break, if Hainan refused to do something that would trigger a break and payment of the 7m break fee to Kodal if they did not have justifiable reason.

These are professional outfits with legal agreements which took months to prepare, not a simple hand shake and half an A4 agreement.
