If there was no long stop, neither Kodal nor Hainan could not get out of their agreement for any reason - for example if Mali went to war.

This contract that Hainan and Kodal have signed is only applicable in the interim period until they are joint owners and in a joint venture in our subsidiary.

That contract and long stop goes once they are joint owners of the subsidiary.

I can think of seven million reasons why this will proceed, just as normal big project patience is required.
