It probably has a max extension of a month at a time or similar.

It is a legal contract with Hainan, Hainan lose 7m dollars if they break the agreement, so the wording is unlikely to be loose.

But the long stop is protection mainly for Kodal to a lesser extent Hainan.

It should not be thought of as a deadline.

But whenever I buy anything I like to 'open up the box' and see what is inside, here I can see a couple of million in the bank, a two million dollar deal with leo lithium and a share of their mine on West Bougouni, a suit of gold plays, one close to a maiden jorc value, a 21 million tonne lithium jorc with a lithium deal of 100m dollars to be completed over the following 8 weeks or so, a 17m dollar deal in Kodal and a 5.8m dollar payment into Kodal too.

I think about what I paid, I think about what my shares are worth today, look in the box and think that is good value.

Thankfully here, people are not making wild statements about things which do not exist.

You cannot be risk averse as that share is multiplies higher risk than this one. We have a jorc, BFS/DFS and are awaiting some admin to be completed - could take up to 7 weeks, then are fully funded for construction of a full production plant which will start eating its way through a 21 million tonne jorc.

With a further 20m plus for drilling to expand the existing lithium jorc.

We have a lithium deal also going through with leo lithium and a 2m cheque from them and a share in their mining on West Bougouni.

We will have 24 million dollars to progress our goldfields one of which is close to a maiden value.

Chatty, the date for completion is in the hands of some sort of accountancy consultant.

Neither Kodal nor Hainan are involved, the consultancy gives a date, Bernard puts it in an RNS.

The transfer of assets has to be completed this way to avoid triggering a tax liability on the increased value of the lithium sites.

Boring but we have to wait for them to complete their part, then back to Hainan and Kodal to proceed.

Only king, the date I have for completion in my mind is mid July.

These consultantancy firms with little to no regulation, often whites from the UK, Australia or South Africa are usually full of sales crap, you can not believe a word they say regarding timescale ease or cost. I often think that the guys who don't operate well under regulation seek out these posts.

Get them signed up and tell them what they want to hear.

It will get done and it will be done properly, but I wouldn't hold your breath for completion dates.

Just to clarify this is the same as in the UK. To move the contents (assets) of one company to another can only be done two ways.

A sale and purchase invoice, which must prove market price. You can't sell something for a penny if it is worth a million pounds or this is tax evasion. Transferring this way would trigger a monumental tax bill - mainly a capital gain.

So the only way this can be done is re-register the assets. But the assets still must be independently valued. No tax is triggered with this method, but it is slower. Reregistering an asset from one company to another takes around 12 weeks over here. However that is generally between two unconnected companies and Mali does appear to be a bit quicker than the UK, but on this we will not know until we get the RNS.

It is good that he does not provide estimations, the quality of the material from the infill drilling needs confirming first.

I remember SP Angel talking about a resource then proving it with a jorc.

Regarding our lithium I swear Bernard nearly said triple in his excitement.

Of course, even if he was going to say that, an increase in the jorc is needed to establish this.

If we get an updated jorc in the following months to 60m tonnes, he was right with his estimate.

We don't have a capped lithium price, which is an important factor.

Paul, priced in, or what the market cap may be in the future are two different things.

A new strain of COVID, no matter how good everything is going can pull any stock down for example.

Once the cash is in, licence amended, within 12 weeks I think Bernard will have us bang up to date with everything we hold and the plan moving forward.

At this point we may have an updated value, but will definitely have an Idea of the next major inflexion point before production.

That is likely to be either, an upgraded lithium resource or a maiden gold value, if the maiden value comes with a potential deal with Hainan, that could be a big leap. Also it depends if they have, or how big a gold NPV is indicated. Some gold NPVs are larger than our current lithium NPV, we have no idea how big, or small, this may be.

Also if the cash was priced in, 49m of it is ours (assets on the books), that leaves, excluding the rest of the cash, 85m dollars for 49% of a lithium resource, about to go into production next year, 100% of one goldfield close to maiden and 100% of more gold fields at various stages of development.

That would be ultra cheap.

Show me a cheaper market cap lithium stock with a jorc resource, funded to production, cash heavy, and the safety net of a suit of potential mines?

Agree Daz, rather than slow, unpredictable timelines.

Some things (compared to UK) very fast, others similar timeframes.

However the upside here is as everyone already knows, we have a measured lithium asset and once the cash is in a means with no further funding required, to take it to production in a long life low overhead production plant.

Then based on additional 12 months drilling and assessment, we will have an idea of how much larger a resource we have, to plan stage two and the means to fund it from a percentage of our plant's production.

A very clear and funded way to a full mining company.

Just need to continue to tick off each stage.

I am also not sure if any drill results will be released between now and then either, otherwise it could alter the market value of assets being passed between companies.

I am sure that the company that is doing the job will know Mali timescales, but, after passing their first date given to Bernard I have set that date in my mind and it will be a big bonus if it is sooner.

The consultancy service companies out there all appear to give the big sell if you read their websites.

Read the consultancy companies websites in Africa, the difference between regulated industry in the UK and the business out there is night and day.

Excellent Daz. That process is not as quick and easy as some people make out on here.

Glad Bernard highlighted that neither Kodal nor Hainan have control over the speed of the process.

The time taken does not in any way reflect badly on Hainan or Kodal.
