Elcobble, think of everything that has to be rewritten and checked by both parties, offtake agreement, permits, employee contracts, contractor contracts, bank accounts, insurance policies it just goes on and on. Time consuming.

It looks like West Bougouni will be sold out of the old company and we are to keep the cash in case the deal falls through and we have to repay Hainan. In that scenario it would be a small cash raise.

Unless I missed it in my quick read through, it is unclear if Bougouni West goes into that company and is then sold to Leo, or is sold to Leo beforehand. If it is beforehand another 2m dollars will be arriving soon.

Nigeria has an ISIS cell which was/is trying to form a state as in Syria. Nigeria is struggling to control this. This is where the main trouble eminates from in Niger and Mali. Niger has crossed borders to assist the Nigerian government. There are also two other small cells neither of which are in Mali. The issues are cross border raids with the assistance of small groups who oppose their respective government.

France and the UN had issues with crossing borders, so the African countries are creating agreements to follow these raids across borders and hunt them down. Of course as for the American forces in Afghanistan fighters become alleged civilians when killed. These groups bury their guns and claim to be farmers etc.

Fortunately these troubles are limited to the north.

The fortunate thing with Mali is a stable economy without rife inflation a feature of many African countries. It is when a whole country's population become poor and start an uprising and riots that businesses operating within them are in danger.

I see Mali's terrorism in the north as much less of an issue as your share's Zimbabwe inflation and worthless currency for instance, because that can destabilise a whole country and Zimbabwe pre 2017 was horrendous, those people involved are still around.

But all of Africa including South Africa always has something simmering in the background.

The ex French colony issue is a mega discussion that is far to complicated for this board. It has been covered in great detail recently on TV. Vietnam was a French mess, they mugged the Americans into taking over did a quick exit and everyone thinks of Vietnam being America's doing.

Niger is a big powerful Africa country and has assisted Nigeria with its terrorism, I think also in the North, Burkina Faso and Mali with theirs, all in the North of Mali and Burkina Faso. I am not sure what it is about the French but unlike the UK and America their old empire is not keen on keeping links with their industry afterwards. France seemed better at relations with the likes of Russia and Iran.

Everything is Wagner at the moment, TV for the dumb. China has a mass of private security firms working in Africa completely under the radar of our useless press. But they are much wiser, they have multiple very small private companies.

I could be wrong but from memory on the plant walk around video I think they want to remove 1mm or less particles, they are getting a sludge which means that the following processes were not working properly. You could see it on the magnetic roller to remove ore, a muddy build up.

So I think that will reduce sludge. The different scanner type to remove Mica.

Marcus it is pneumatic, air blows it. But it is timed from sensor to air, so the material has to behave consistently. Mad isn't it.

Onlyking, this is the confusing part, I think they are transferring now but am not 100%, because West Bougouni will also have to be transferred.

It is not clear if everything excluding West Bougouni will be held at point of transfer or including West Bougouni then sold.

To be honest, if he explained it all in great detail it would be beyond most of us, unless someone works in a large accountancy with a department for this type of work on a regular basis, difficult to follow.

It falls under a similar specialism to transfer pricing another area which would make individuals heads explode.

It will be good for mining if this technology works, even putting the plant just beyond scanners into normal types of plant would in theory increase productivity for the same amount of energy because a high percentage of waste would be removed beforehand.

I am hoping it works so the Stark videos and interviews continue. Otherwise it is Tomra at Pilbera and they don't explain in as much detail.

PS Marcus, shipping of hundreds of samples to Tomra would have been expensive, but possibly cheaper in the long run.

Tomra are not South African, that maybe is the reason.

I agree regarding Stark's reputation, I am just baffled with all of the money spent before they appeared that they did not know exactly what would be in this cut. Otherwise surely they would have brought the kit day one.

My two comments are in reply to Stark being first, they aren't Tomra are into this in a big way.

New to Stark only.

Tomra avoid the Stark issue by having 3 global test centres, they hold all the plant options at these test centres, test the ground through the plant, adjust until it works, then build a plant which works to send to the relevant country. Rather than shipping parts back and forward on site until it works.

The short of it is Stark are not first. Prem is first to try Stark's first full lithium plant with scanner technology.

Marcus they operate a different way the mine sends samples to these test centres so they configure the plant based on the material from site. Rather than try and work it out on site.

Oakgrove, like I said Google the abbreviation operating in Africa and learn something new. They are outnumbered by many others. All contraversial. Ours G4S at times has been answering manslaughter charges half a million employees, but look closely at the ones operating across all of Africa. South Africa has many.

You will think differently.

Oakgrove, I am not disagreeing with your point, what I said was that there are many more companies operating across all of Africa, Wagner is not the standout company or incident, nor is it the largest it is just in the news due to the Ukraine war. Simply look for your self using the abbreviation I provided, it is the term used in the industry, not as the current articles term these companies. Images will make it easier if you are a bit lazy.
