We are smack in cotton country. All mines have to build roads to their plant, as do quarries etc too. Nothing new.

Steve and that other guy have more experience than most in Mali, both been there in and out since the 1990s. Steve has set up more mines than most and has previously set up and operated a lithium mine.

They know what is what and are much less likely to get caught out than many others operating in Africa.

TC, I think large private investors may join after the cash lands, institutions I would think very close to production, but that is nothing but a guess.

Rather than the last RNS which states that the money is being wired then explains complicated precautions taken so Kodal does not disappear with Hainan's cash.

Agree with Mafee, also how would Hainan recover their investment if the mine did not go into production?

The licence will transfer over, everybody is too focused on Hainan's cash protection rather than Kodal getting the cash and all contractors and employees flooding onto site.

Just obviously after Hainan pass 100m dollars over they have put in motion protection so Kodal can't sell the mine without their approval and if for some reason the licence could not move over, obviously again if the mine is all built and ready for production Kodal would owe them 100m dollars plus some, hardly unfair conditions.

What it means for us is very simple it is all happening.

So it is simply now a case of us finding out how long it takes to get 100m dollars through money laundering etc regulations and into our coffee, they hope before the 15th November, but their RNS comminicates that they are uncertain about how long this will take.

Not in the RNS - it could be days it could be weeks.

But it is happening.

Maestro it is complicated because Hainan wanted to be sure that once they passed out the monies over if by chance the licence could not migrate to the new company neither Kodal could sell it for a second time and that they could as a minimum recover their 100m dollars and some additional cash for their efforts.

Some CEOs are a little sparing in detail and then there is alarm further down the road when detail is released due to an incident, Bernard drops the lot on you and you have to fathom the workings.

Basically it is going ahead and it is Kodals and the funding is coming over.

Now we are about to learn how long it takes to move 100m dollars through all of the regulatory hurdles and into Bernard's hands so he can set in motion the grand plan.

The biggest market is company and fleet sales not big boys toys. Companies and fleets buy them because they are cheaper to operate and most of the money goes into the car not filling stations or service agents (servicing)

Diesels when they first were put in cars were exactly the same and it did not take long to filter to the masses.

The batteries will be no issue either once the private market is established no doubt there will be battery contracts available.

Bear in mind these electric motors will go on and on with no moving parts - no pistons, camshafts, cam belts, crankshaft, crank bearings, no water pulleys, alternators the list goes on.

Once the technology and private sector is established nobody except an enthusiast would want a piston car by choice.

My, equally there are other reports just today that Toyota feel they are on the verge of a breakthrough which will result in 700 mile range and 10 minute charging.

They think they have resolved an issue which prevented this technology being already rolled out.

Furthermore they think it can easily be mass produced.

That would tip a lot of customers to electric, just on the convenience of electric never mind emissions.
