You would imagine in theory that it would open 14% down with a massive spread that initially would hold back a flood of investors as the spread narrows trading increases.

Regarding the 17.5m, I think everyone got it right, Hainan wired the money yesterday. But until the shares are officially issued upon opening today it is unlikely that it will be in Kodals spending account, it is most probably separated from company funds somehow.

But theory and reality are different, sometimes if the spread is smaller than an estimated gain for traders they also buy through the spread so the share price can immediately jump.

So in short like everyone else I am sitting back and watching today.

Change notification went in on time in April. Government stated that they wanted a phased development notification, all the work for this was completed and submitted in October and we got permission to continue this month.

Now it is completely different, Hainan want to transfer over 100m dollars to us. There are serious and complex rules connected to moving any money between countries. While a date of before the 15th November has been set, Kodal said this may need extending.

Even Hainan does not regularly move 100m dollars around the world, so we are about to find out how long it takes.
