Targeting £1.50 bt=y the end of the summer and all those reopening already have a healthy back catalogue of films to show and new ones being released and complementing them by the day. e.g. Nomadland and The Father just released.

It also looks like we might not be waiting too long for some of our Eastern European cinemas to reopen on top of the imminent large scale reopenings in the US and UK.

Hungary has just given the green light for cinemas to reopen. We operate 18 multiplexes there.

Poland, in which we operate a further 35 Multiplexes, looks like it has given the green light for reopenings on 29th May.

Just can't say it until the PM commits and confirms it. Matt Han**** said the next stage of easings is on track about a week to 10 days ago.

The key point is not all the blurb and obfuscation in between.

It is about getting all in Cohorts 1-9 to all having had the 2nd vaccination and then 1 week later they are as immune as they can be. That targeting of Cohortd 1-9 has then taken 99% of mortality out of the system in the UK.

Shouldn't be far off half-way all Cohort 1-9 having received 2 vaccinations by reported stats on Tuesday. Although it has to be said that the the combination of lockdown measures, first vaccination efficacy and then the enhanced efficacy through constantly increasing 2nd vaccinations has created herd immunity.

Mooky I think has called this absolutely correct in staged reopenings absolutely spot on and with the mass of reopenings coming imminently.

Scrap social distancing then it is hard to justify any form of seating gaps in the cinema.

All the data from these trial events, snooker, football matches, Liverpool Nightclubs this weekend will be extremely helpful in deriving key data.

the soundings though are very positive that everything is looking right on track for enhanced easings at Stage 3 and for progressing to Stage 4 of the Roadmap on 21 June and for what is meant to be the last of the legal restrictions being lifted.
