RE: Great opportunity6 May 2021 13:33
6 months and 1 day ago (5th October 20 to be precise) Cineworld shuttered all its doors due the pandemic.
No ticket sales, no popcorn sales, cokes, Starbucks, Nacho's, Hotdog, Ice-cream sales, picknmix as well for six months,
First 22 cinemas reopened into Godzilla versus Kong. Next circa 56 opened into a double hit of Mortal Kombat and Demon Slayer. All 3 good box office.
179 more reopening tomorrow
May 14 a further 153 reopening in US
17 May should be 128 reopening in the UK (announcement imminent)
21 May a further 127 reopening in the US.
We are also awaiting updates on Hungary (18 multiplexes) and Poland (35 multiplexes) where the governments have approved cinemas reopening.
Somebody asked earlier why the drop.
