If someone is trying to suppress the price against what is good news then they are having to continually spend more and more money to do so and imho not really getting the return of sold shares to make it worthwhile as less and less people sell. Only traders. At some point though the realisation that they are constantly spending money to support what looks like a futile position dawns on them and they stop and then it normally pops resistance.

People trade and I get that. What irks me are the disrespectful ones who post positively or remain silent when holding only to try and talk the company down when they are not (for their next re-entry point).

Friday, somebody was using small and other trades to control / manipulate the price in a certain direction and expending money. Now we have Jeffries pop up saying that they expect potentially a 50% upside.

Like you say it should only take the first signs of interest off another fund or client base and we should climb well.

It's all a game of smoke and mirrors on the trade front and you can never guess what is really going on. Read whats available, dyor and then make your own mind up and stick with it an keep reviewing things as more information emerges.

Personally I'd prefer that we participated in giving away some free tickets rather than popcorn and actually capitalise on the margin from concession sales. Like for instance this forthcoming one.

Afternoon Robin. I noticed the spike this morning also and there was also a lot of business transacted around 96p yesterday as well. In fact about 3 times today's lesser volumes. probably mopping up more imho.

Personally I think they have dropped the price too low and consequently they struggle to generate accompanying volume and the day before yesterday and today are testimony to that.
Being frank the share price is not keeping up with all the Cineworld reopenings, Mookys update and what has been exemplary figures from Godzilla versus Kong, Mortal Kombat, Demon Slayer, Peter Rabbit 2, A Quiet Place 2 and Cruella.

Happy to sit tight, get on with other projects and to enjoy the cinema at the weekend.

There will come a time M00la when the recovery in numbers speaks for itself. We can all see whats happening at the Box Office for ourselves and know F9 and Black Widow are coming.

Just do what I do and if the price gets knocked then I always make it my point to book some tickets for my nearest @CINE. It's still half term and Dream Horse and Cruella are looking favourites for me and the family for this weekend. Never underestimate the need to keep the children entertained and their desire for concession items. Plus the adults accompany them.

Good deals on family tickets right now and don't forget that those Clubcard points can be converted into tickets giving CINE the equivalent in money. Those shopping at Tesco's will have accumulated a fair amount during lockdown.

I feel for those who have booked Portugal trips for not only have you had to fork out for Covid tests but doesn't the switch from Green to Amber now mean you have to self isolate on return for 10 days now as well. Bosses in workplaces will not be happy.

it's a deterrence to booking holidays and I think you are right that the staycation industry and domestic entertainment industry like pubs, bars and cinemas should rake it.

Although it gets reviewed in another 3 weeks it looks like they are intent on protecting Uk borders and whats inside to allow Stage 4 of the Road Map to proceed. If the travel industry lose that next review then the sumemr is gine.

Position statement. I have held Easyjet have not held any shares recently. I do though have counter hedged positions in Cineworld and some other entertainment industry shares and retailers.

If you look at those with Portugal holidays booked and the only real glimmer of a Med holiday don't they now need to beat the deadline for things coming into effect or have to self quarantine for 10 days on return. That will definitely not go down well with employers.

Not good news at all for the foreign travel industry. Should though be good for domestic holidays and entertainment. review again in 3 weeks. I personally think they are protecting the borders to allow Stage 4 of the road map to progress.

You never know what might happen. Our volume today says we either have somebody in the process of closing or maybe one of our institutions making it a little more difficult for them by taking stock off the table.

A lot of the time trades get left on L2 just to create the impression of obstacles in the road ahead when the aim is really to mop up whats available under that. It will be interesting to see what happens as it nears that. If it goes through that then where would you foresee the next big resistance point.
