Oh and don't forget 3 months from now the cash the business is then generating means no further requirements for additional debt.
The liquidity of one years worth is no longer needed to be talked about as the company is generating its own liquidity daily.
Debts will start to firstly be stopped from rising further and then start being reduced.
This will quickly start to reduce at significant pace (like the US and UK vaccine rollouts).
No dividends for a couple years and this highly cash generative business starts to smash those debts down in quick fashion.

The Morrisons takeover has turned the focus onto the industry once again.

Probably Middle Eastern interest would be what I would place my bet on.

Looks like a bit of copycat off John Lewis. just emphasises the underlying value of the assets and that land bank.

Must be only a week or two ago when the Morrisons bid came up and it couldn't happen here due to the debt that Cineworld had. Or was it the outstanding Cineplex matter that was an issue, Englands progression in the Euros that might damage attendances or was it that it needed more than one or two films to turn things around.

It's actually a laugh a minute when you sit back and simply observe from a distance, top up when irresistible opportunity presents itself and then you can watch the forkies turn rampers.

The list of films that would contribute to End of July predictions is wrong.

Hotel Transylvania is released in October and 2 of the others are not released until August. Some might also argue that some of the other mentioned films are in themselves "lesser films"

It might be too cheap but its a done deal and better than 230p.

As for me 8% return in only over a week for thinking it was opportunistic and they would have to come back with a higher second offer.

This bulletin board sadly has become a shadow of itself and is now an unmoderated mess of trolls, daytraders and forked tongues. Unfortunately for all their endeavours not many of those can actually be making any money.

Netflix were previously sniffing around Regal and Amazon were reputedly sniffing around AMC back then, as well as smaller cinema chains.

Thanks for posting this Basilius. Jordan recently pointed to something of this ilk and most of that content in that article I stated and backed up with links, including Netflix

I also highlighted the Paramount Decrees ruling in August last year overturning a previous covenant or ruling enabling Studios and Streaming giants to take over cinema chains. The present market cap was inviting it I said at the time imho.

Not just Jordans post removed but all the meaningful accompanying links as well.

You know what, if a takeover does drop then well done all holders and LTH's. They have just got themselves further sight of a recovering Box Office with Fast and Furious netting a further pandemic record breaking $70 Million in its first weekend and the same if not an even cheaper share price.
