All, (well nearly all) the European countries are withdrawing from any dependency whatsoever on Russian oil and gas which means the wheels of industry in all those countries will be looking to source by other means, be that either solar, wind or nuclear. The latter nuclear option it ha sto be said can take you up to 10 years to build the infrastructure what with planning, appeals, nimby's and protestors.

Secondly with the price of domestic heating fuel and road and air and sea transportation as it is and car fuel just hitting all time highs of £2.00 per litre today then definitely the best industry to be in.

Then just add on top the green and environmental agenda which isn't going away any time soon either.

The Order book and further business presently under negotiation should see today's share price aberration correct itself in due course.

I'm sat here lmil13 patiently waiting for the market to click and reflect the massive visible improvements in Box office relative to present market cap, proportionate increase in concession revenue and pre-trailer advertising revenues which anyone can readily see for themselves when they visit the cinema.

That, plus simply waiting for Netflix and others to put their better content through cinemas first. It's the only way the likes of Netflix recover growth shortfalls that it was graced due to lockdowns are over

This Apple deal points the way for others so thanks for posting. Nice 50 / 50 split in Box Office revenues and it just shows how much the Directors and A list actors get with success payments.

It actually sounds like a really good film and with several avid F1 fans in the LPD family it is a move I will fully support with wider family and go and see it in Imax.

Might have worked in the past Crumpets with an algo backing their posts to try and get the weak to sell but presently the algo's are throwing shares away and they are not getting the bigger reward they require in return.

Box Office is noticeably climbing and with it are all the other associates: Concession revenues, online booking fees, advertising revenues ...

$120 per barrel of oil (Brent) and a share price sat at where it was when the oil price was roughly half that.

Maybe up down, up down but plenty of catalysts here for this to substantially jump upwards.

Any bit of positivity on here such as good numbers or say like today a good Mooky interview and the share price is made to go into retreat to allow churn and pick up. Predictably so.

However, the bits that get missed in interpretations:

1. The Box Office has started jumping upwards. It picked up in March and April and took a very significant leap upwards in May. This month should eclipse that even further. NB: this is talking only about Box office ticket sales and with a predominantly US slant. UK and our Rest of the World contributions on top, as well as Concession food and drink sales, Advertising revenues, Online booking fees, Unlimited memberships, Private screenings, Concession shop rents and income from other variety film showings - Opera, ballet, sporting events.

2. Court case. From where Cineworld is actually sat this one I actually view as a positive. Why? Firstly because there are 3 Senior judges involved this time around and not just the one. Secondly, there are far more award permutations that can result in a reduced amount and all the way down to zero.

Quite happy to watch the Box Office keep ticking up into next update and if you are invested just keep doing your bit by going to @Cineworld, buying popcorn and concessions if fancy it and pick up your promos like the Fathers Day Gift boxes for £20 I popped up last night.

Share price is artificially too low imho for the present recovery in the business.

Forgot to add that I just saw TopGun Maverick in IMAX @CINE last night for the second time. The film was made with 6 Imax cameras in the ****pits and you simply cannot beat the realism of that experience. Absolutely awesome.

Not a bad little pressie that if you are short of ideas for your own dad or are a father yourself and are asked what you would like. Some great films out there right now and due out for the IMAX experience.

A cinema of that size (and its big) is a far bigger commitment than opening a small shop on the high street forfaiter.

I think when you are talking trends the bit you missed is that the share price is trending up from the 22p region which you clearly missed.

What you can't argue with is cash in the tills and last month saw a large step up. More than a fair chance given TopGun Mavericks opening, Jurassic World Dominion and Lightyear and Elvis that this one will be an even bigger.
