Watched it tonight and I thought there were a couple of steers given by the judge re how she was thinking. For instance non-payment of rent being queried as ordinary course? All those default
notices at odds with preserving the business? She also threw a couple of "awkward" questions at Mr Mark (maybe direct questions is better phrasing) and he did not answer them very well at all.

I'll tell you what though that Mr Kane (for Cineworld) was top dollar on damages and case law. Knew everything inside out, upside down and back to front and could speak quickly unprompted and with such authority. I think everybody viewed him initially with scepticism at first but by the end I it was quite clear he really knew his stuff. ?

Looks like parties get notified the day before that the judges verdict is ready. No advance copies of it leaked. Then publicly released to all when both markets are closed at 4.30p.m. the next day. No anticipated date given.

Next week, next month or next year, who knows. You will either be holding or not when it becomes public and I suspect it will go immediately into auction in any case.

Back to running the business in between times and Marvel's Eternals opening tomorrow night then with Ghostbusters Afterlife, House of Gucci etc to complement what is already cumulative audiencing.

· Tullow's free cash flow guidance includes an expected payment of $75 million from Total which would be triggered if a Final Investment Decision (FID) for the Lake Albert Development in Uganda occurs before the end of the year. Public announcements suggest good progress is being made in Uganda, with agreements recently in place to launch the Upstream and Pipeline projects, but if FID does not occur in 2021, the $75 million payment is expected in 2022."

Super news that Adieuk32 and yes that further $75M is coming our way.

I only mentioned it because OAM is exposed. I don't have access to Euroclear so can't speak for the true numbers. That said though, even at 1.8% a 40% jump will be a substantial hit.

Everybody knows that this has gone contrary to the oil price and TLW are 75% hedged in any case so we sit patiently and wait for our own reversal.

Tullow Oil (TLW) is another worth watching for an entry with a share price about 50% under a recent broker note and trending in reverse of a buouyant oil market. Odey short there also. TLW have hedged 75% of their oil production at $72 per barrel into the rise so guaranteeing their income and 25% is making higher than that at the moment. Can swing a bit so not for the feint hearted. Opec meeting today though to decide on whether as a cartel they lift production. The Saudi's seem to firmly against it.

Agree smalltrader that this will pop at some time. Clear the court case first with positive outcome and its miles too cheap. Imho.

People seeing the article first and buying in. Then up pops the RNS and others buy in and then along comes a short squeeze on any that were short and have to buy back. Headache for Crispin Odey who was short over 2% of the company.

Up nearly 40% now. Proper headache and even though he had reduced he was still short on over 2% of the company. Ouch !!

When they drive down the value of a company to undervalued levels.

Metro Bank the case in point. It has just received an approach from Carlysle Group.

Bit of a headache for Crispin Odey's short position on Metro with the share price up over 30%.

Might need to reduce here to meet any losses.

RNS punted out confirming an approach by Carlysle Group affiliates whilst I was posting and reading up further.

The reason for mentioning it is twofold:

1. It is another share that has been shorted down and it just shows how quick they can gain 20% and 30% off rumours. Hopefully it prompts an RNS either way.

2. Get the court case out of the way, with anything deemed as a positive result for |CINE, and with recovering Box Office then if we are still anywhere near 63p, we ourselves would become appealing prey.

The joys of a diverse portfolio and patience. Was waiting for a modest interest rate rise. Didn't expect the other potential news.

Loving this one.

Should hopefully draw out a comment for the movement in the share price.

Confirmation you would think will push it up a lot further.

A nice bit of added spice.

We win and we exit what was a near $2.8 Billion deal and clearly now overpriced deal with hopefully a large proportion of our counterclaim monies.

Institutions then dip back in again (been visibly absent) and support the share. With shorts closing across the back.

+ 40% to +50% over the next days and weeks.

Imho 88p and higher, possibly over £1.00 to reflect improving Box Office.

Market makers or Polygon themselves imho seem to be holding this within a tight range to assist.

That's 3 reductions now by Polygon in as many days.

I'm personally expecting a lot more before the verdict. Financially bully the price down prior - against all good news. Close up and exit before any rebound risk on a positive outcome.

I make it your beloved Rolls Royce shares are down 10% to 12% since you punted them on here pb. Wait till next update and see if they have encountered supply chain problems, increased energy costs, by association component part costs and transportation costs. (As several others have)

Banks never increase savings rates by the same differential as any increase in mortgage rates and pocket the differential. You then get the bank multiplier across the back of it.

It's getting tempting again.
