RE: Court case4 Nov 2021 23:36
Thanks HNS. I popped this AB Stable decision up in it's entirety some time back. ALL 243 / 244 pages of detailed verdict, all pulled together from multiple sources, appropriate case law, references, footnotes, appendices and I said it would be at least December time off the 22nd October initially anticipated courtroom finish.
I stand by that but would add a bit more time to compensate now given the late finish. The judge you will appreciate will have to pull together all the meat from the Documentary exhibits, Undertakings evidence, all the transcipts of in chief and cross examination witness and expert evidence, both sides detailed written submissions and all the legal arguments and compendiums of case law. Nobody either has any insight into whether or not the Judge has any competing demands for her time with other court commitments. If so imho it may stretch things further.
Over to the judge and it is an unenviable task to have to pull all this together, read, read again, check, double check, write sections, produce draft, final draft, proof read and ensure it is grammatically and factually correct, check for things like political correctness etc.
