Up pops an advert for House of Gucci on ITV and the ITV news interview from earlier is on News at Ten.

Personally I think that anyone who lost any money or was forced into selling their shares in THG as a result of the run of events that followed looks to have a legitimate claim as an individual or collective group against Numis. Shocking and the article hints of sour grapes. I do hope that is not the case with Peel Hunt here on DARK.

Looks like the Naked Trader called it correct with his buy in.

It's been in the 120's many time previously without a bid so will probably fare better as a standalone bank and benefiting from any rise in interest rates when they come.

Non-weekend opening nights (Wed / Thurs) can take as much as some weekends (Sundays in particular are lighter). We gain 3 pseudo weekends worth of takings in December. So 6 next month. 5 if you count the two opening on the 22nd December as only one.

And during any school holiday period any differential between a weekend day and a weekday diminishes. People are on holiday and can go any time. (*see below)

Lastly if I can't go on the 5th weekend (because there isn't one in the month) then I go the next weekend or I go through the week.

Congratulations on identifying that one month has 5 weekends instead of 4 but it matters not to the cinema attending public whether there are 4 or 5 weekends in any month.

*Referring you back to my earlier point above two of the weekends in October in the UK were actually school half-term holidays and could therefore have been just as busy through the week. Particularly with childrens movies.

Wellington sadly I have been around bulletin boards for a long time and seen all sorts and can sense a troll, a trader, a deramper or a scally a mile off and to be fair most I ignore and don't even reply to. Most are already already filtered.

Similarly you will find - as in this evening if I think someone is misinterpreting things, is misconstruing things, missing a point or is unbalanced or not seeing the whole picture then I will pick them up on it.

If you actually read my postings tonight you will find that I have provided perfectly reasoned and balanced argument to any 4 / 5 weekend debate on here and with points that were not previously considered and which are all perfectly valid. Always happy to keep mentioning them as well.

My approach to postings won't ever change. That's not just here btw but on any bulletin board I'm invested in.

December should be a very good month indeed. I have it as a 6 weekend month (probably an enhanced 5 month)

Let me explain

Spiderman No Way home opens on a Wednesday (15th December) + 2 days takings = another weekend
The Kings Man opens on a Wednesday (22nd December) + 2 days takings = another weekend
Matrix 4 opens on a Wednesday (22nd December) + 2 days = another weekend

Knock off Xmas Day this year (Saturday) maybe Boxing Day as well (Sunday) although some cinemas might open? So Minus 1 weekend.

So I make that 3 viable genuine Saturday / Sunday weekends and I make it 3 potential bonus weekends? (with early opening nights on Wed / Thurs). 5 in reality though as 2 open on the Wednesday prior to the same weekend

Does it really matter that I can't go to the cinema on Xmas day or possibly Boxing Day. No it doesn't for I just adjust and go at another time that is convenient to us all, through the full of the Xmas and the New Year break.

For a film goer who wants to go and see a film it doesn't matter if there are 5 weekends in a month or only 4. You go and see it when you want. You then have a further 27 to 30 days to go and see it again if you wish. Or boohoo it skips over into the next month. The same with the next film and the next.

You could also easily argue that two films that start their opening weekend on a Thursday make up for the two days of any supposed weekend missing. For instance Ghostbusters Afterlife opens tomorrow (Thursday)

Spiderman No Way home actually opens in the UK on a Wednesday night in the UK (15th December) - there's that weekend back in a flash.

Similarly do Unlimited card holder go moaning to Mooky to get a discount because there are only 4 weekends in the month? Their revenues go into Cineworld coffers every month irrespective of whether there are 4 or 5 weekends in any month.

Some fair points you make there small trader on this subjects post. The traders masquerading as lth's will no doubt side with each other and think it acceptable for their next entry point. Those with investments will think otherwise.
