Another Nil Reason Day22 Nov 2021 20:40
Been busy most of today and just seen the SP down 5.07% at close and having checked I can't find any real reason or news to justify it. If you can find it (Definitive news) then you are a better person than I.
EMAN cinema finished fractionally up today and whilst CINE has retraced post a really good update only a week ago, EMAN has risen since then and maintained most of that rise. It looks like things started positively today with the share price and happy to then hazard a guess that its the market makers simply dropping the price and relying on the same old traders constantly selling and selling time and time again and making repeat losses trying to gain a re-entry point. If that refers to you then it is probably worth you reflecting and sitting down with a calculator to see how much money you have actually made, or should I say lost, in the last week or so. Stamp duty, dealing costs etc.
Last night I stated that I went to see Ghostbusters Afterlife and at the time of booking there must have been about a dozen pre-booked for the showing. I book early and never checked again. That turned out to be absolutely no reflection on the true picture. I sat there with my good lady wife and watched stream after stream of people fill the seats and they were coming in in in 2's, 3's, 4's, many family groups of 5 and 6 and I even had the pleasure of a group of 8 representing 3 generations of the same family sat in front of me. The place was packed and I would say around 70% had concession items (probably conservative). It's a really good film and I can see why it surpassed its initial expectations at the Box Office by nearly 50%.
The UK is imho having an excellent Bond renaissance and our biggest market in the US might be just about to head the same way with an injection off Spiderman No Way Home . It would also not surprise me one bit if we see Topgun Maverick brought forward. I hinted at that last night and found it strange to be trailering a film that is 6 months away !!
Rather than listen to half the c@ rp you get on here I would urge yoy just as mountainous has suggested to simply read the last H1 update, then the trading update last week, and digest that CINE has dramatically improved from burning cash to being cash flow positive in October and in a short space of time.
Then across the back of that dyor, visit the cinemas yourself, consume the movies, munch the popcorn. You might then change your view of things.
