This is understandable, in June the NASB business will finish its cycle to the current year. I hope something will be on the horizon before full year report. Probably in Feb / March time.

Only NASB business is enough to wipe out all the debt. Once done it will re settle the enterprise value which will be much higher than now. Uk buss business is down because of the cap contract which must have some restrictive covenant. I believe after 1 January 2025 they will get more freedom to re allocate routes which will be financially more favourable to National Express. I hope after 1st Jan we will see the activation of funds into Uk market.

Considering last year when they first announced the sale of NASB. This year and 2025 are much better year to sell the assets. Organic growth is an indicator to show that without sale they are comfortable to go long and with sale they will improve US presence through we drive you.

Shorts should hold it back as long as they can but eventually they have to cover it. Mobico without grant is on its foot now and ready to run. Problem is that there are not much shares left to buy and tailwind has started to blow.

IMO, two warning sign for shorts.

1- Us business will sold out on time.

2- focus on reducing leverage - improving returns will follow.

Now the only matters at what price? I believe it will be around $ 1.5 to 1.7. I also believe they have more than one party which shows interest to buyout NASB.

Quickdip, you are partially correct but remember now if they will not receive the subsidy amount they also will not be bound to run the unprofitable routes.

IMO, weekly and monthly pass will also rise albeit less in percentage. This is the only way forward to track the nex uk into the profitability. If it didn’t impact the number of buss users.

HY was one month later than usual so I assume trading update will be second week of November and hopefully with a big positive news. Azorastep LLP wrote in last year December that a sale between $ 1 to 2 billion expected and SP may double fr here.

End of the October and no tu yet. It’s certainly testing nerves. Hope tu will be much more positive and reward the patience.
