What does tickle the back of my brain is Neil Herbert, he made his name by selling basically an undeveloped mine for 2.5 billion.

Which was basically never mined, and sold at land price by the purchaser years later. So it does beg the question how creative he is at addressing problems like these.

Fairly straight forward:

It’s 8.4 billion of lithium we are sitting on.

Even if we don’t mine it, it’s worth more than 100 million.

Well it’s a logical/tactical cost effective approach, and costed approach., also a good way to let Elevra know we are not waiting about, ticks several boxes.

It would be hilarious though, if Atlantic drop in a road some diggers and modular units, as this alone was about 170 m a year. minimum cost and would start the ball moving. Leverage the dog leg as low cost

One point I could see was cash flow, they need another quarter . As they are bound to contracts that are not at market value.

Other than that NALs dropped production, they have massive commitments and I doubt NAL would cover the bills.

Maybe the Americans inject cash as they change the trading agreements. 🤷‍♂️

Atlantic is taking that approach, we still own 78.5 percent and can proceed and raise funding.

Atlantic have more levers to pull, and MR Herbert will and is doing it.

Basically if Atlantic proceed elevera have to pay 22.5 percent of the costs irrespective. If they don’t they get diluted out.

2ndly that leaves the 50 percent, that they need to buy at market rates but only get 22.5 percent.

I am actually looking forward to the possible warning shot, where the head of MIIf is appointed to the board of directors.

If this goes the path of Atlantic even getting a wiff of being the Ghanaian partner of choice for Lithium, then the whole dynamic changes, I can see that being a possibility if elevra take the proverbial.
