@JackB14 Lol on show me the deals. As for just now, it’s just trading between PI to PI it seems, very low volume. Market is waiting for clarity, so expectations can be set, e.g. timeline for off-take deals, FID.

@5toamillion on cotes and Assore specifically. I don’t see that partnership happening, progressing until deal room closed for all the below reasons, I see cotes as leverage or a sweetener for us in the deal room.

@5toamillion @JackB14 This is exactly why I see FEED which is the DFS reduced to +\- 5 percent, that is the input into the stage 2 for closure (confirms what offtakers will pay etc. timing) and triggers final offers stage 3. All be it with lawyers throughout.

To me that deal room is key, as soon as Atlantic gets a question on securing offftake and maybe. Cotes sweetener. They can then relay that to other bidders, timeline known, cost known. Sweetnes incentives in etc. and it’s sorry you aren’t offering enough, we need to sell equity yada yada.

@5toamillion see below post and keep in mind that the lease can get pulled by Ghana if we don’t have the mine running in roughly 18-24 months or zero progress. That will apply to anybody taking us over.

It’s usually standard T and Cs and the ministry will be monitoring said progress. Hence pressure on all round

My thoughts are that Assore win or win basically. They have kept enough shares to fight an aggressive takeover offer/counter if need be, can sit on the fence if fid fails and buy us cheap.

If FID is successful, they derisk massively as well for any takeover bid, as they don’t need to find a partner to fund the deal or stump up the cash themselves.

Also they will look a little silly not being able to pay 120 million, for a low cost mine when saying they can do circa 270-300 million for a high cost mine extension, that’s IRR is most likely years not months.

@JackB14 or we may have some dilution as the offtakers may want a piece of equity, seat at the table to make sure ewooya and cotes are managed correctly. Although I don’t see that as a negative long term.

@JackB14 elevra don’t get their finger out, FID delays and Assore buy us out on the cheap.

I doubt that scenario though, as long as we are successful in FID then elevra can leverage our groundwork in setting up the bid, the asset is known and they can scoop up the losers, at premium by saying Atlantic got 60 million so we want 65 million.

Keep in mind if it’s EV/car manufacturers etc. they pay 100-150 million just for global ad campaigns. Which atlanticnhave confirmed early on are at the table, they also lock out competitors, manage supply chains for years and meet political goals.

No setup cotes and ewooya as a package, with offtakers and funding support for ewooya build, cotes development. and then see who wants to buy us.

@5toamillion this is see is how Atlantic increase that offer from 40p, and also ties in with what they said in relation to bid does not represent the scale, future exploration at both mines.

Supporting this: Atlantic or I am assuming Macquarie Capital, probable advised the company to state separate partners beeping sought for cotes.

This highlights cotes, but also incentivises offtake partners to sweeten any deal, so in the bid room they make a play for cotes supply as well, all at a price. Mind you.

Why, because downstream companies just want to secure supply, lock out competitors not mine.

Geo politics in Europe and America are pushing for diversification away from China supply chains, dependency basically forced to.

@5toamillion ok how about this scenario see if it changes your mind ( as to when):

Offtake stage 2: we sell x amount of take, and its contingent on the buyer, paying x amount to fund drilling in cotes and they get 1st right for refusal on Lithium. Plus let’s just say 60-90 million funding at 0 percent.

We go basically regional as a Lithium supplier, Assore or another needs to stump even more to buy us after fid.

Supplier secures 20 plus years of supply, we become a bigger target. Let’s instead of 40p we go for 0.70-80p for takeover.

kinda like a Vulcan or Liontown type deal.

@5toamillion what I do find interesting is that no one here seems interested in the offtake/stage 2 deal.

To me this could significantly change aAtlantic into a regionally recognised Lithium company, pushing us way past just Ewooya and what is discussed here.

@5toamillion not really. Keith needs to deliver the FEED and willl be under pressure, he did state on Monday update soon though.

The issue of milestone-linked warrants ("Warrants") with an exercise price of up to US$0.296 (AUD 0.415 / £0.219) per warrant, for a total value of US$6.0m (AUD 8.5m / £4.5m).1

- Warrants issued under the Strategic Investment will become exercisable on the achievement of pre-defined milestones, aligned with advancing Ewoyaa towards production:

1. Parliamentary ratification of the Ewoyaa Mining Lease;

2. Project Final Investment Decision ("Project FID"); and

3. Breaking ground at Ewoyaa.

The expiry date of the Warrants will be the earlier of 24 months from their issue date or 30 Business Days following the satisfaction of the Vesting Condition unless earlier exercised.
