I think is a deep moment of relection even the most 'positive' of investors here probably feels this whole business has felt lopsided for a number of years. a company with an mcap of £11m leading a huge pipeline project with €265m bank funding etc etc. i'm wondering if the exit here is a reasonably imminent all-in sale of SOU. as to what price that might be at, i would't dare guess, but for me there are so many 'odd' things going on here, particularly in the last 9-12 months, that i think if that happened you'd look back and join the dots.
Same as I and others been saying for a long time Eric, he not only has no meaningful skin in the game here but he has other options and wondering eyes for other ventures. What’s needed is a mgt team who are aligned with SHs, not one that aren’t invested and really not as critically dependent of pulling this off. Said for ages, GL is a drag not asset, just look at his cv / LinkedIn!
Re the lack of comms, one thing i would very freely admit, if the next communication from the company is actually actually actually positive (as opposed to on the face of it looking positive, then once you read the detail and crunch a few numbers it's not at all - i.e. pretty much every SOU RNS since early 2017), then I would definitely have to say that i'd be incredibly impressed at how well said positive news has been kept confidential. I'd have thought the nature of the large and varied number of stakeholders involved in so many moving parts would make a "leak" highly likely if news was good, but there is no such sign still. with a mcap of aroud £11m, the upside % could make such shenanigans quite compelling for a naughty boy or girl involved in this palava. i personally decided back in October the company was in no mood to share information as the past, it remains the same to this day. Leaves this a full on Vegas black or red job, although i don't see the odds of good/bad news as being 50:50, but it's pretty sure whatever the news the sp will move.....just a case of which direction.
Another pointless and baseless post soundboy. like chucking darts blindfolded. I tell you what, if you post, ‘news this week’ every weekend for the next 5 months, you’ll probably be right at least once. Watch out for the incoming abuse from ktf annd others about weekend posting btw. Just figured, you’re the same poster as pescado, same style, same content, same meaningless valueless garbage.
Smuggler, I know it’s years away, you didn’t answer my question. You seem ‘challenged’ responding to on topic questions. Nothing in that article was good for sound yet you posted it anyway. You seem unable to join the most basic of dots. Stick to something simpler and less risky perhaps, like gardening?
That’s a very odd post smuggler, it’s actually very bad for Sound. Firstly, your post seems to imply you’re not aware there’s already a gas pipeline to Europe. Are you aware? Secondly, how is anything in that article good for Sound? Bringing huge amounts of Nigerian gas into Morocco, that’s competition for Sou gas, not good for investment, returns, or price of gas in Morocco. Shot yourself in your foot again?
Ktf, do you ever think before you write?
"Not that anyone would care what some anonymous nutter writes on here, but it does show the level of desperation that has crept in" - that perfectly describes the majority of your 3500+ posts over the last 7yrs. Everyone one of the bullish, everyone of them as you can see, wrong as it turned out. And you call sceptics here the nutters? Are you ok?
In terms of getting personal - that's all you and your other logins etc can do in the face of on topic posts, you seem intellectually unable to repsond on topic, defaulting to jibes and bs. It merely highlights how paper thin your justification is for holding any shares here. Didn't think about it much when you invested I guess. Oh well.
Next week Rodney?
SB, you smuggler and KTF are just so thick. The share price is now 0.64 offered, best bid 0.61 and all you can do is post the same old garbage. Next time you invest in a share DYOR might be a good idea. This is going to zero. Some size seller, a persistent seller is out there and this looks based on the order book it's about to take another large leg lower. I agree news should be due soon, but it's going to be very very bad for equity holders here. Can't you tell? Wakey wakey.
Soundboy, KTF, I was flicking through the channels last night and passed over a programme call Monster Carp and it immediately reminded me of your long history of unresearched, baseless (in economic reality) and unfounded (bordering on bs) posts. KTF, I apologise but I simply don't have the time or inclination to pick & chose a few of your many many fruitier posts from the mind blowing 3500 on this bb alone, but below are a few of SBs in his latest login. What is clear to any sane person, is they are, as with KTF, simply just hopes and dreams, nothing more. Dressed up implying they've done their reseaarch and know more than most, but a simple historical check between what you two post and what transpires will highlight to even the most queesy out there you post utter monster carp. A bit of humility wouldn't go a miss chaps.

Another month ticks by beyond SOU's most critical deadline. Another month of inexpliable and unexplained Phase 1 delays goes by, and the company are silent. Where is GL anyway? Caribbean perhaps?
It never actually traded 12% up yesterday, it was an UT. in fact all day yesterday it looks like the best bid was actually quite a lot lower than the past week, with 0.66 bid the best you could actually sell at, so the settle price is actually fair, paticularly as they dropped the offer down to 0.69p in the last hour or so. It's the same situation, no change, there has been no opportunity to have bought and then sold these shares in profit for close to a year now. This is a reflection of the performance of the mgt team, regardless of who you might blame behind those issues, but ultimately their performance and delivery have been many levels below woeful, and the market sees that. Deadlines missed and extended with a £11m mcap will prove to be penal for existing SHs as more funding is tapped either via equity or yet further opaque asset dilution. To be honest I'm impressed that given tomorrow is 4 weeks since the bank funding deadline was missed, and in the complete absence of any news from GL to reasonably update SHs, that the sp is holding up quite well. This won't last I suspect. SHs here seem imune to being treated by mgt in such a contemptuous manner. The missing of these deadlines and passage into a period where by their own admission the company is not funded are material facts and price sensitive, how they can convince themselves they are not is a sign of panic and distress I suspect.
Don’t kid yourself of all people KTF. You’re obviously a pretty mentally weak and sad person. I posted twice in the last two days, I can’t speak for others. Rather than respond to the on topic detail, you again turn it personal. You really are a pathetic person, no wonder one of those ticking up pescado and soundboy garbage posted here. I’d look in the mirror if I were you.
pescado, do you and soundboy have no shame? you post the same old carp week after week, with no justification, no logic, nothing. it’s just like a 5yr old hoping she discovers fairies this week. why would anyone listen to a couple of posters who are supposedly invested in a company with an lng plant pending who think lng isn’t cooled or under pressure. the to shoot yourself in the other foot to rely on some 6-8 month old carp written by a proven sweaty partial piece of **** that pumped the stock between 2014-17, consistently called it wrong but did eat all the pies at every investor event going. well done, a new pointless low for you both, and that’s saying a hell of a lot.
Unfortunately the precipitous fall in prospects, delivery, outlook and share price here have made anything remotely like on topic debate and challenge to views here basically impossible. Anyone raising fact based challenge to the baseless optimism of the cult here is shouted down. Such as the following;
One point not raised for a while, I believe it was me who raised it after the AGM in the summer, is in my view a key reason for the delay, or one of a few critical and very uncomfortable realities that will be laid bare to SHs very soon. It is this. The bank funding requires 35% of the phase 2 raised by other means, but a critical caveat to the overall total cost of phase 2 (sign posted sneakily by GL at the investor event in the summer, and buried in a video I think) is the revised cost calculation needed for the 120km pipeline & associated infrastructure construction. Materials and labour costs have soared over the last 3yrs, and current cost estimates date back to pre 2020 by the company’s own admission. This in my view is a major piece of bad news coming down the tracks for existing SHs. The funding of this much higher pipeline cost needs to be either from SHs or CalVal, but I doubt they signed up to such inflationary increases without a much larger % of the asset. The fact is, existing SHs own an asset they have no funds to develop, no way to realise the value. Lenders and new partners will take pounds and pounds of additional flesh to fund these projects. I feel the pipeline cost inflation is a key hold up, and will turn out to be a large part of the explanation for some very bad news in the next few months. GL avoided a direct question / challenge about this obvious risk at the presentation in the summer.
And indeed yes, the survival of this company and the vague possibility of any value at all being returned to SHs rests solely upon phase 2, there is no value in phase 1 to SHs as the company’s own research broker SPA states in black & white in their now very out of date and way too optimistic (given inflation, recent dilution, lack of knowledge of funding metrics) last update, viewable by all on the sou website. Not that I think many here can or do understand financial detail sufficiently.
But the good news…..GL hasn’t engaged SHs for months, treats them with contempt to be honest, and continues to get paid far too highly for utterly terrible delivery. No wonder the sp is low, but I fear not as low as it will be in April.
Pescado, it's not me who is thick here. my teenage kids know how LNG is produced, and i've only worked in the o&g industry for my career and know a little about it. you're such a moron, i'd stop using AI searches if i were you, they'll be telling you the world is flat next. what a fking moron. all that you google isn't true you complete tool.
Another top quality post.
So you think LNG is not refridgerated, and no under pressure.....??!!?? I gave up reading then, what a load of complete garbage you post. Amazing the inaccurate off topic (LPG???) carp that is posted on here. Clap clap.
Fair play CH, I’m just surprised you’ve got the front to post here, let alone accuse other posters of anything after your checkered past (I’m being very generous) with sou, JP and this bb. Feck me, some people have no scruples! Did you end up declaring to the taxman all that cash you made here whilst talking up the sp and selling in the background?
Again CH, to use a school related question, you’re not reading the fking question! Who cares. Address the points many are making about this (in my view) sham of a company. This stuff being posted isn’t made up, it isn’t 4yrs or 12 months out of date, it’s based on fact, company presentations, RNSs and clear lack of delivery. I want hold my breath! As for profit vs prophet, I’m not really into long hair and long coats, and I’m not sure many hear will recognise what the first word means, would you mind elaborating?
My goodness CH, you are full of it. sounds like you love a conspiracy. you haven't built yourself a bunker and hoarded 6 months of food down there just in case have you? it's malevolent by the way, surpised given what a stickler for grammer and spelling. anyway, if you're looking for a negative force working day on day out with negative consequences for shareholders, you need to no further than the SOU exec team I'm afraid. all roads lead there, stop blaming anyone or anything but them! you'll go mad.
You must know some nice people rubber, when I said that I meant it. Take it as you will, it’s anonymous after all and just the same as someone saying their day job is in convertible bonds, cough, cough, we’ll never know. You’re far too focused on an irrelevance rather than the facts relating to the company and its mgt team. That’s the issue. It’s merely a diversionary tactic I suspect. I’ve been open with my view on the company and management. I’m completely neutral to existing SHs. I do get frustrated by the lack of on topic engagement on the bb, but there you go. As for all this carp about multiple logins, what tosh.
