Tincan - no one's giving advice, the way i see it is this is an investment board. there's no requirement to be invested, fact. i see people as trying to engage in objective challenge and even to learn a few things. fact is it's 95% one sided as there seems near nothing any of the 'invested' ever say by way of challenge or pushback. this isn't a fluffy duffy facebook group, but perhaps that might suit a whole lot of head in the sanders here who only ever want a circular posting regime of blowing smoke up GL and SOU's backsides and each others too. personally i'm completely neutral as to whether people make money here, but it seems unbelievably weak in character of people to be unable to consider and challenge alternative fact based views. that's the problem here I'm afraid....
As usual SB - your 8.42 post, nothing actually related to the company in your post, just personal. same as ktf, turnoff and nearly all the others that are overinvested and wrong here. the nature of your reply merely reinforces my view i'm right here, as you have less than nothing objective to say here other than 'hopes & dreams'.
why are you still posting btw? you clearly stated you wouldn't. what a sham of an individual you are!! tide's gone out SB and you're wearing no costume. hopes and dreams.......your next user name perhaps?
what many poeple post on this bb is complete gobshyte. rewiting the past, accepting company statements with hand fulls or buckets full of salt, and statements from company directors that are bordering on illegal i'd have thought, if not illegal then certainly enough to **** off sou's nomad. at 25 mins in to the february investor call gl answers a question (one of a number he answered in a very similar, crystal clear way) about whether the calvalley deal was going ahead or not. he replies "yes it is". how can he say that? the calvalley exclusivity period ended not 5 months ago but 9.5 months ago now, how can he make such a statement about an investor/farm out partner that very clearly, even surely to the most green of investors, has ulterior motives? when he made those statements and the sp subsequently rallied 50% from 0.65p to over 1p in the next few days, it made me extremely concerned he had crossed a line. this company has a well established track record of non-delivery, no progress, bs'ing investors, sugar coating the truth, hiding bad news in a myriad of words and statements. for example, it seems a few on here are excited by the prospect of well drilling and fid. in the february comms the company very clearly states that in respect of phase 2 fid, spudding (only) of the te4 exploration well and phase 1 first gas - they are 'hopeful' that all three will be achieved by end-2024. let's be honest, nothing this company ever does is ever to plan or on time. you can add 6 months to each of these if you're a weed smoking completely under researched optimist, or 12-18 months if you're a hard nosed, cautious and realistic investor. by this time i'm certain the calvalley deal will be long dead and buried (the company still have not be clear about which elements of the funding, equity farm out, gsa, feed recalculation etc etc are linked/dependent upon each other).....
sou is and will become synonymous with being nothing but a moroccan pi black hole.....
Good god…..well noticed! He said multiple times in February it was happening, it would happen, it was certain. Not once was he anywhere near that clear or confident this time. There’s an obvious reason why. This GL guy is no different to James Parsnips. A complete liar and snake oil salesman that’s close to being found out!! Don’t be in here when it happens…tik tok, tik tok…..
SOUNDBOY/ADAM – you’re am complete joke, how you can keep posting here is beyond me. What you posted is both extremely clear and completely contradictory at the same time! Either way, you’re clearly full of utter sh&te as you’ve admitted in the past. A dart chucker, nothing more.
On 26 April you wrote “Right girls and boys...I'm putting my reputation on the line here..Cavalley is a done deal.clues were on the last rns..if its not then I will stop posting.thats a promise...” – yet you still post??!! It clearly isn’t done in any sense, as GL made clear days after your bs post.
Then on 30th April you wrote “We have time on our side now. Personally I hope Graham tells cavalley no deal. 40% is a lot to give away. there are others interested .Once we are producing we can fund some drilling ourselves...future looking and getting better. i for one am happy with today's Rns.bring on the presentation tonight.” I mean wtf? Why would you post that if on 26th April you ‘knew’ a deal had been done. You’re nothing but a compete chancer and bs artist, now have some backbone and stop posting would you. At least fire up a new login and get around it that way, for you to keep posting is beyond cringy.
Bye bye.
Yeah that's right Bluboyz - bucket at the ready, sand at the ready, spade at the ready, head at the ready. Always a good plan to blindly ignore rationale input and only listen to the blindly ignorant and unresearched when making investment decisions. Stick your head in the sand and assume the SOU LSE BB standard pose.
One further thing that became clear finally last night - the reason for the FEED study revision delays. There's no money for this. SOU are caught in a horrible place and having got far too close to CalValley I suspect they know it. SOU have no money to pay for the FEED update, without which there's no bank funding. Without CalVal there's no bank funding. Better hope GL and GD have a back up plan for all this. having listened to a few calls, yesterdays was by far the worst i've ever heard in tone and content.
One concrete ans timely outcome of the SOU call yesterday is that SB will no longer be posting under their latest login. crystal clear from below they'll be no more posting, despite the toungue in cheek reference to their 'repeputation'. As has been the case for years, the sceptics here offering objective rationale analysis and views get drowned out by posters who time and time and time again are shown to be nothing but snowflakes when it comes to understanding how companies and business works.
The only way out of this is an RNS stating SOU have terminated the now 10.5 month long engagement with Cal Valley and are activating plan B. Won't be pretty I suspect but better than entering a long term relationship (and giving away a massive proportion of the only asset the company has) with an entity that treats you like this at the first opportunity.
The post from SB that sealed his fate;

Right girls and boys...I'm putting my reputation on the line here..
Cavalley is a done deal.clues were on the last rns..if its not then I will stop posting.thats a promise..."
The relative silence on this bb speaks volumes (pardon the pun). I actually feel slightly sorry for the team having just heard the call. It’s clear that the company is, as a few of us have pointed out, getting squeezed by Cal Valley. He was clearly talking to them tonight, but if he’s going to call their bluff he needs a back up, a plan b. My view is he should walk away from Cal Valley very soon, and tell them to fk off. They’re squeezing the company and SHs and he’s walking the company to oblivion by holding out. Time is money. The longer he’s duped by them the worse it gets. I’d put all efforts into plan b immediately and ditch them. There are clearly issues with reaching and agreeing binding terms, Cal Valley are getting greedy it seems. With that so critical to all Phase 2 and any drilling, things don’t look good at all.
The one positive is they seemed to be more honest tonight, but the situation is so bad they’ve unveiled a world of pain and massive SH risk. Fair play to him for finally telling it as it is, but fk me, it looks far worse than even I thought.
Fair enough Shrek. but a valid question - you and some others seem to have a number of seemingly valid questions for GL / the mgt team. Have you actully logged / asked them ahead of the call? it's all very well wishing and hoping someone else would ask them, but the forum is there for any investor or potential investor. i'd have thought you'd have more reason than some to actually put these points to them. i think they will give politically vague and non-commital answers as usual, but i might well be proved wrong (but i doubt it). the detailed farmout / legal structure of the group and its existing contracts is already complicated enough, and i think they've leant on this in the past in order to obscure and confuse PIs rather than simply stating - and after all that this would leave x% of net profits (another contentious metric in this company) attributable to existing SHs. they don't do that as it would look too low in my view, but again, you never know they might come clean.
I’m always open and very keen to learn from the all successful investors on this board Shrek. Assume that’s a ‘no idea’ from you then!? Seems a common trait here. Lots of mouth and not so much logic, experience or objective rationale. Next…..
Ok, can someone explain where the funds for the drilling come from? the current programme only includes one re-test of a prior well to tie into the LNG. no one has farmed into a broader exploration programme yet have they? assume it's an even larger farm out % to Calvalley? is that what you're assuming? Or is there a magic money tree in SOU HQ i'm not aware of? what kind of % of the asset does that leave SHs with after ONHYM, Schlumberger & Cal Val have had their large slices? Anyone know % and how that nets back into the return per share? it's there for all to see if you've got time and ability.
Yes i appreciated it was a delayed reported sell rubber, but i'm not sure it changes the narrative?
agreed St.Mary, have been some buys but sell pressure is clearly much more aggressive than buy pressure which is often quite telling imho. time will tell. i'm just joining the dots.
Scarf - that's because barring a few unresearched chancers on this forum (whom I still think are more likely shorters of some kind, as no one can possibly post nearly 3700x and be wrong every time and still keep posting), no one is buying the RNS this morning, it shows nothing. The market has had it with bs from this company. They've rinced the market too many times and just time after time fail to deliver. SP says it all.
Don't worry i'm still here SB. you're such a gobby joke. the best bid is currently 0.756p, that's lower than the low of yesterday. you can buy for below 0.80p. no one with half a brain is sucking up this garbage from these lot anymore. revenue and profit is the only life raft that will save this company, not never never RNSs about exploration the company has NO CASH to pay for. How long based on your calcs will it be until Phase 1 profits to SOU are sufficient to pay for exploration? Appreciate you don't like facts or reality, but look at the SPA detailed last valuation doc and you'll see - never is the answer. The company has no money. Like I've said countless times, GL doesn't care about exisiting SHs. You'll notice tonight it's all about 'the company' this and 'the company' that, not how he'll deliver for existing SHs. You'll at best get watered to oblivion here. Based on the new lower sp again today, despite your unresearched unfounded hopes re today's RNS. The SP is again lower not higher today, seems many investors see it the same way. Amazing how posting 6-7 garbage posts in less than 1.5hrs is acceptable if you're blindly bullish on this share, if you post a couple of well founded objective critical posts you're accused of spamming this forum. What a SOU love-in this place is.
I suppose there’s always a possibility someone just happened to press sell rather than buy……oh who am I kidding. It’s like a Monty Python sketch this corporate drama. There’s GL screaming from the window that GD has been a ‘very naughty boy’ whilst he’s paraded through the town, then in the background in the village square a bunch of shareholders crucified on crosses singing ‘always look on the bright side of life….’ That’ll be what’s written on the post it left of the desk as GL switches the lights off soon. Looks like SHs have been played yet again. RNS coming on further dilution soon plus a grovelling bag of excuses tomorrow night. Has anyone even bothered asking any questions. What the company needs is revenue and profit. After 14yrs or more I’d think people would have learnt.
