I don't want to tempt fate but volume fallen off a cliff following the flurry of buying/selling last 2 weeks. Don't want to tempt fate at 4pm on Friday but no action and the bid and ask have been pretty static all week. If there was poor news coming, i'd have expected some large sells, especially from the drilling crew or Mr Rig. In my experience Caspian have not been leaky and yes people communicate with Clive but he doesn't reveal materially sensitive info unless you want to be taken inside of course, but handcuffs come as part of that deal !

COS with 153 should be high and hopefully 154 prod levels maintained or even better still, increased. Do they know the result now ? I'd have thought so using the RT50 rig and perforation doesn't take long so must be news next week or ar they waiting for more news to add to the RNS ?

One can dream but all assets are in play and we're still only a £60m m/cap operation, until KO's shares are allocated. 153 at 154 levels Clive and the production could be 3000bopd with SY. That's a better place to be and throw in some Carlsberg and job's a goodun.

Good time to get production up and benefit from strong crude, heading back to $74 again. Long term holders are used to disappointment but the shallows should be slam dunks and I really hope that they don’t disappoint.

The extract below was from an RNS in June 2020 and SY has been shut in for almost 2 years and no benefit from the the 300bopd from the existing wells but the bit we should be interested in is the potential untapped oil at higher levels that will be suitable for horizontal drilling.

153 result is majorly important as it confirms that HD works and the recoverability rates will increase considerably and the higher numbers quoted, 6-8k bopd maybe achievable. Add in SY success and additional P numbers and the NAV increases. This is primed to kick off and the only dark cloud would be any overhang but hopefully the new acquirers of Casper stock may realise that it's better to hold/add than to sell. If no sellers then this is off and double figures not to far away. The only thing that stops us is poor news but i believe there's a high probability of success from 153. Wouldn't it be great, 3000bopd if 153 comes in a la 154 and SY back online. Happy, chatty Caspers !! now that would be something to behold.

South Yelemes
This structure is the subject of an ongoing licence upgrade application for a separate 25 year production licence. Until the application is approved we are unable produce from the four existing wells on the structure. The first wells were drilled on the South Yelemes structure during the Soviet era. Well 54 was intermittently active between periods of being shut in to allow pressure to be restored. There are three other wells at South Yelemes (805, 806 & 807). The production from South Yelemes was in aggregate approximately 300 bopd. These older wells are the only wells on the BNG Contract Area which use artificial lift to assist the oil to flow to the surface.

We believe the structure may have untapped quantities of oil at higher levels than previously explored making it potentially suitable for a horizontal drilling campaign. At an appropriate time we intend to test this theory.

As with the MJF structure, once the South Yelemes structure is moved onto a full production licence we will be able to sell the majority of oil produced by reference to world rather than domestic prices.Y has been shut in for 18 months now and see below an extract from RNS in 06/20. Everybody waiting for the news. Selling in the ascendancy but only low volumes as any heavy selling would send the sp back rapidly in the absence of buying. Ask is very week and real market is 3.2-3.3p and i can see that retreating slightly if selling continues. A poor result on 153 will damage confidence as it will question the horizontal drilling strategy but the opposite will push us north with SY to follow and all the other operational activity building. A little shaky and i'm in for a few more.

God knows what's going on in the States. Went up to 13p the other week...lol and down to 1.86c in trading yesterday but volumes are low and no correlation to the UK price. Worth buying a chunk @ 3.1c or 2.2p !!

Market well offered 300k -25k so there's no volume selling without taking sp down. Sellers in the wings wanting to sell pre news ? possibly. Could sell 500-600k easily up to Friday but 25k online as we stand.

Yep, assets like Dunga can be transformational IF they hit commercial oil. They're in the exploratory phase with the 2 Devonian wells and 3AB so nothing guaranteed.

I find it very interesting that they're drilling 802 to the Devonian as opposed to 4700m as per 801. They originally thought that 801 was connected to the Airshagyl structure, obviously think the same at 5300m depth.

High risk, high reward from 3 assets that could be drilled and completed by early Spring 2022, actually A8 before year end, maybe an A5 sidetrack and probably 3AB. Just need the shallows to keep producing and it's a free punt on the deep plays.

$100 ? quite possibly but so baby factors affect it and now we can add Pandemics ! Impossible to call it.

We’re going to know very shortly whether we have turned that corner. Just need 154 confirmation of continued or increased flow rates and 153 a 500+ well. That’s enough to get the buzz going knowing that it’s likely that horizontal drilling is going to build production levels rapidly. SY to follow in September too and activity on 2,maybe 3 deep projects and 3AB too. Always have a chance of chartering CE again but shallow success is the building block tgat changed sentiment as Casper VEVO d a profitable OE company. We’re going to make money here if shallow prod builds and everything else is a real bonus. Let’s hope that delays, failures and inevitable disappointment are all in the past .

Crude had one little run at $74 and believe we will break $80 this and average for the year above $70, great news for oil producers.

Starting a new thread as it's tedious scrolling down 104 posts. Great to see lots of peeps contributing and hopefully more chatter next week if we get good news on 153 and any other titbits they want to throw our way. Just a positive statement on 154 continued or increased flow with a duplicate result on 153, that'll do. I believe we can then comfortably say that we have turned the corner and company profitable with more sp appreciation and hype !!

Back to our Casper, was hoping for some healthy volume going into the BH weekend as news likely to be next week but the cynic in me is waiting for the 'dump' and profit taking for those who have loaded up @ 3p ish.

I don't think you have retired but that sounds like hard work and hopefully hired hands are in tow to manage the work !! Haven't thought about Woodland as a business opp but depending on the site i'm sure it's activities/entertainment etc .

Seriously on the gardening, groundwork, patios, tree surgery etc, plenty of money to be made if you get the model right, that's the next challenge/opportunity.

Looking to move west in 2023 and Dorset the target although i know Devon really well but a little to far west. Mrs from Kentisbeare, Honiton and some of her family still live in Salcombe. Holiday territory for me but will probably end up there on the Dorset/Devon borders and i suppose Poole area or a little further west is the next stop and if Caspian kicks off, maybe a Hot Tub as part of the deal...lol

Given up on second guessing it. Great to see the sp holding up and news will decide next direction . If we get what we want with 154 continuing, 153 a similar success and SY, the penny will start to drop, hopefully followed by the well schedule ??
