At close the market was well bid, 3.76p to sell up to 400k, an improvement on the opening, 3.74 up to 500k and 3.73 to 650k. Max buy 150k @ 3.824p.

Flogged most of my Shel and BP today as getting a little too toppy with the Ukraine tensions. I don't believe it does kick off but even if it did, Crude would bust $100 and increased revenues across the estate would probably more than make up for lost Russian revenues. Nice to have some cash but it'll burn a hole in my pocket and will try and avoid buying a new car :)

The Apricale ! hydrogen tech, greener, lighter, faster and better handling. Too much money but that'll change in the future as the technology improves. Would like a test drive though ;)

The next move is down to Casper. The PIs can talk it up, down and sideways but with so much operational activity on the go, the news will do the talking and take it out of current trading range. This stock desperately needs new blood and we will see inevitable churn when/if good news is published. Deliver a deep and we smash through 10p but until then, the positive news on the shallows will deliver smaller sp increments and eventually it will get recognised as being seriously undervalued.

Most of the current PIs are loaded up and strapped in ready for news, the current daily trading is insignificant until we see the news that sends this north at pace, currently that is A8 and they're obviously taking their time to try and get it right before moving onto zone 2&3. As ever, patience is definitely required !!

Some of us are obviously feeling in the doldrums and i can't argue that the price isn't BUT as for upside this year @ 10p ??? Nothing guaranteed but if they do deliver A8 then it opens up the Airshagyl opportunity and at present that is an unknown. A per latest WHI note, the 58km2 @ Airshagyl @ 300mboe ?? we don't know and could be less although i'm hoping that it's far larger. Not factoring in the Yelemes block and 802 drill in H1 will shed more light on that structure. This can get very silly indeed and the price will get ahead of itself if they land 1 or 2 deeps and that'll be more than 30p !

ODS, i copy a link below, there are loads of them but the exploration in the Caspian basin will continue. Lukoil will get a few favours i'm sure as a result of Putin's involvement in the troubles. There will be more offshore exploration and hopefully the barge is not a white elephant . Also it will create more work for Kazakh companies and employees, may work in Caspian's favour.

FY numbers won't be out til June so some way off yet. They will look far better from end Q3 but the real profitability will be evident from H1 2022 results. Hopefully $35m turnover, just based on existing production but that's very likely to increase. No debt and the cash at bank number should look very attractive giving them options to accelerate operations, build necessary infrastructure, buy other blocks etc. Add in the barge cash and you can see that 10p is laughable. Yep, got to deliver it and our track record isn't great but the last 2 shallow results, the A8 drill to TD without incident, maybe our Mr Shin with his new Options, is really making the diference.

The company is undervalued at this juncture but unfortunately it’s not on enough peoples radars. Most if not all of the current trading is done by the PI community and we hold c 12-15% of the free float, c 250-300m shares. Average daily trading volumes are minuscule and only perk up at RNS time. I’d love to know the peeps who are trading this and it’ll probably be a small bunch of individuals and many of them will be on the chat boards. People transferring stock to each other…lol . Wouldn’t it be funny to see who the players are that dictate the price here, there won’t be many, that’s the problem.

We need continued production from the shallows but the real value is from deep success. Increasing production enables Casper to go on the PR offensive to attract more players to the game. The big boys are in place and they are not trading this stock, they all get really rich from sp appreciation and eventually a trade sale.

As stated, needs new blood and that’ll only come from continued success so that we appear on more radars.

I can't see that as they've issued really positive news on 153/154/SY, the barge in advanced talks etc. The only reason the sp is at this level is as a result of the geopolitical tensions and peeps taking money off the table. The debt conversion was announced as was the boat deal at 12p but by the time they finalised it, the price was 4p as i remember. I don't think they're holding back and a 600/1000 bopd 154/153 is evidence of that. I just believe that they are managing the news flow and not setting unrealistic expectations, a definite change from past reporting. I believe we get numerous updates pre end of Q1 providing weather and further geopolitical probs don't get in the way.

Yep, the barge was controversial and i was one of the ones that were anti it. At the time it was a sweetheart deal in my book but softened by the transfer price @ 12p. KO could've ripped more stock out of the business but he didn't and as you say, it's a white elephant if it's not going to deliver revenue. The August update was bullish re advanced talks but hey, talks go wrong but if it is the only drilling barge in the N Caspian (i can't find another), then it's likely to be chartered. The oil majors are definitely ramping up exploration and quietly getting on with it as opposed to shouting successes from the rooftops, the latest large find in Namibia is evidence of that.

Barge charter cash v % share in an offshore project or barge sale ? Depends on the current deeps and whether that forces the transportation fix and pipeline spend. If A8 does become a commercial success @ 3000bopd+ then they have an issue as A7/802 and others are likely to be successes too. A7 and 802 could be at TD befor end of H1 if we take Clives's timeline of 4 months to drill but we don't know if they've spudded yet ?

Yep, charter cash for me if A8 flows and then a % of an offshore project in 2023. Hopefully they don't need to sell it as cash and bank will be very healthy come end 2022 and they'll have loads of options . Just got to get that first one over the line.

Caspian Explorer. The only barge available in the N Caspian that can operate in the shallow water.

They're reporting has been strange over recent months. Some detailed RNSs and some like the last one when you think, why bother ? Also with the barge, 5 months on and no update.

PIs control the price on this stock as we're the only ones investing in or trading it. Based on fundamentals alone it's a strong buy, supported by the fact that they are funded to crack on and deliver value from multiple assets. Being discounted as a result of the troubles and geopolitical climate but i don't see that affecting Casper's future unless there was a witch hunt for any wealthy Kazakhs that are part of the Concert Party. I believe the elites get to share some of their spoils if they're not the right side of the fence or simply ship out.

The sp is depressed and does not corelate to current fundamental position. We are in a great position to exploit asset base. No need to go to market for funding so no dilution and hopefully the required infrastructure spending on pipeline can also be managed from cash flow, especially if they charter or sell the barge. Caspian have loads of options unlike many tiddler AIM companies living from hand to mouth. Hopefully the unrest and troubles are a thing of the past, as each day passes, sentiment will improve aided by some positive results hopefully and maybe then they can put their heads above the parapet and engage in some well needed PR.

One of the best investments on AIM in 2022 ? i believe so.

Peeps are nibbling knowing that there is going to be regular news flow in 2022, probably going to be the busiest year since 2007. A weekly update on A8 progress would be good to see but I suspect that they’ll only report when they need to.

Yep Bull, bid weakened to 750k but offer price increased to 3.63p and max buy 150k @ 3.784p as of 10 mins ago. Much more civilised spread and MMs trying to make a few quid in a very thin market.

Extract from the last RNS which gave us very little to go on as to the real position. One thing we've seen over the last few months is that they're not going off half ****ed and not setting unreal expectations. The fact that A8 has been flowing for several days is encouraging in itself but the lack of detail re low initial flow rates, leaves us in the dark. I suppose slowly as she goes is the MO currently and we have lots of info to be released this month from continued testing of initial zone and from other 2 zones. I expect that they are waiting for improved rates from this interval before addressing zones 2&3.

Normally this news would've catapulted the sp forward but the low initial flow rate and lack of info has ensured a muted response. A huge qtr for Caspian holders and regular news updates the order of the day, just need them to continue their run of good form.

Shallows will take us to double figures and maybe some more reserves from new structures at SY. The cash cow for exploiting the other assets and maybe adding more opportunity as it becomes available.

Last RNS was low key and jacking detail and maybe to do with the recent. Unrest and geopolitical climate. If Putin does invade Ukraine, it gets messy for many reasons but on a business front, it will damage UK investment in Russia. BP and Shell will probably suffer unless Crude rockets as a result. I don’t believe it affects biz in Kazakhstan as so much foreign investment involved and maybe a Kazakh owned company does better than most. Uncertainty causes fear and opportunities for those who are willing to take risks. The sp is depressed but Casper is getting on with their business quietly. There should be 4 or 5 wells on the go in Q1, the conclusion of A8, 2 other deeps and probably 2 shallows at least. To add, Barge update could add $25m and maybe a licence to start 3AB. Revenue will continue to build as production increases and buoyed by high crude prices, current revenue is c 70% of m/cap ? Add in the busy operational schedule, what’s not to like ??
