Un, Nerja, not a bad spot when Putin raising the stakes. Troops will be moving in to Donetsk and I can’t believe he’s going with it. Crude reacting accordingly and $100 will be a low point if this gets silly. The West security isn’t coordinated as a result of Brexit, the biggest negative in my book. Each leader visiting Putin individually, a fiasco.

Yep, Putin's playbook in real time. DPR/LPR leaders asking to be annexed and that's a possibility. Ukraine are not going to back off so then it gives Russia more of a reason to take it further possibly but military and economic carnage to follow.

Crude price is aligned to the tensions, up or down but doesn't affect Kazakhstan as biz will carry on. The markets are already pricing in invasion but there will be a general retrace and bargains to be had as a result. If Casper retraces to the mid 3ps, i will be adding regardless of my position, i could be having a feed at KO swap prices, what's not to like. Shell and BP sold and sitting back to see what happens next.

I'm expecting some operational news this week regardless of the debt swap meeting on the 9th.

Putin and rational ? we're going to find out soon. I agree he was 2-0 up but unfortunately for him, the West have pushed back in unison and Zelensky still playing the self determination card. Just had another 'false flag' event and for anyone to think that the provocation is coming from the Ukraine when there's 200 troops in position on the borders and you're surrounded ? Let's hope there is some rational decision making but if there's no win for Putin, he's going to struggle to save face so crazy outcomes are possible. If they did invade, you know Casper will issue news on the same day, let's hope it's the right flavour.

My Mrs wants to get back into horses when we move, she and her sis use to love dressage, a bit beyond me, i only like betting on them. She also wants a few Alpacas, blame that on Mrs Hinch but it's not happening ! Lessons day or are you competing ?

Nowt we can do about the Ukraine situation but as peeps are stating, if it did kick off, it makes Casper stronger financially as Crude rockets. I still believe it's extreme sabre rattling and diplomacy still on the cards. If he goes in for a full scale invasion, this would go on forever. Ukraine is a huge country and the fighting will drag on, the sanctions will kick in, not where Putin or Russia or the world wants to be. No way is the West going to let this happen without inflicting huge pain and no way is Putin going to restore the USSR to it's former size pre WWs. If he attempted that, the world is at threat and to me it's all bravado and will never happen.

As i said, nothing that Casper can do but continue with their operational schedule to increase production and continue to strengthen the company financials.

They have 27 months to move deep structures from appraisal to production so they’re going for it. Dependant on results, they’ll have 2 years to continue remedial work if not flowing and maybe to drill more if they start to get the existing wells to flow.

Hopefully they’ve spudded 802 too and the 152/152 wells on MJF, maybe first horizontal on SY too.

First half of 2022 operational schedule busiest ever and we’ll soon know whether the Devonian drill at A8 is the reason why the Al Marris have joined the game.

Re Ukraine, yep agree. Blinken pushed back as did all the allies. Scholz supporting Zelensky with the same message and Russia only response is military build up, allegedly 190,000 troops, personnel now and are doing Nuclear drills in Belarus, firing off the odd ICBM. Stepped up the sabre rattling as opposed to de-escalation, not much choice. I still believe it is resolved with diplomacy but something has to give. Maybe something kicks off in Eastern Ukraine, some more skirmishes and little more, this is not a new development. I've attached the Zelensky comedian link, i can't believe it's 3 years ago !

Nervously looking at the share price !Having to read RNSs through your fingers ! welcome to Casper. 14 years of trepidation or i could say the first couple of months were ok on the Pox but the rest has been perilous with most investors suffering from anxiety...lol

The share conversion document took some careful preparation and it's aim to be more transparent as well as to fill the coffers with a load more shares. If he'd had the time to manoeuvre a few more departures from the CP when the CE deal was happening, he could've pinched a load more but heyho.

If this is an attempt at transparency and using Divis as a tool to get new investors onboard, i don't get it. The value to new investors joining the game would be to make a few quid and to do that, joining the party now would be key before the news avalanche hits and sends the sp northwards. A8 positives would send it to double figures instantly so a missed opportunity for those institutional investors who want to invest in a geopolotically safe play in Kaz where ownership is 65% held buy a CP. Somebody mentioned Tom Dobell from M&G, formerly of M&G should i say. His recovery fund was decimated and he wouldn't be able to go anywhere near Casper. M&G as with many financial institutions, have a stringent ESG policy and this will probably stop them from investing in many companies who haven't got their act together.

No more mis-communication from Casper especially if their looking to issue a new IP and attract more investors ! Time to deliver as to the expectations set. As CC was intimating that A7 and 802 not spudded yet ? maybe he knows more than me but if it is the case, stop telling the market it is and that TD and results before end of H1 2022. Crap communication and time to clean iot up if they are going to be seen as competent.

As i keep saying, lots of news in the pipe, the weather is fine, troubles have subsided so let's stop the promising and start delivering .

Ukraine starting to look a little more tense with the latest news on the separatist (DPR) crap, the spark that sets it off and blaming it on Ukraine. I still believe that sanity will prevail but i'm not so sure. Meanwhile Casper will keep on drilling and pumping oil and if Ukraine kicks off, our Casper becomes financially stronger.

If you took away the Ukraine tensions, that's obviously not helping. Also the fact that there's likely to be a news embargo on A8 until this conversion is done. That's obviously not certain as the deal is done regardless of sp but a flowing sp will see a huge re-rate so maybe a pullback was inevitable.

One thing for sure, they can't pay Divis unless there is plenty of cash and they'll need a chunk to accelerate operational activities on the deeps.

Having read the doc again, Kairat was in the CP so this is a very well managed operation leaving little if zero to chance. Good news that KO obviously believes that sp isn't going to retrace otherwise he'd not be converting SO, let's be avin the good news.

You are correct and apologies if that was not clear. I and friends do hold c 10% of the free float if i base it at 250m shares. That sum of shares does not include anybody on these boards as far as i'm aware.

If A8 flows and they can prove up the Airshagyl structure as communicated, you can increase your expectations. We have no idea as to whether they've found commercial oil in the Devonian and the 300mboe could be a huge under call. Add in the Yelemes Deep structure ? Quite simply we don't know what we have at 3AB, SY shallows and the deeps until a CPR done.

20% up and 2.5% of the free float traded. Still haven't had the time to read the full details of the equity/debt swap. Going to have a good read of it tonight and to compare the shareholdings in the Concert party and the wider CP, pre and post the swap. Why did Kairat sell @ 4.2p ? Was he out of favour ? He didn't disclose his disposals down to 221m, did he leave under a cloud ? Some more bed time reading.

Mr C, i'm not dodgy !! definitely a major shareholder in my own house ;) After doing a little reccie, i can account for nearly 10% of the FF and i expect most players will be looking to see how this develops and exiting on the cheap is not the MO.
