Simple question. If the NAV is c. 61p (which seems reasonable) & the bid currently 11.76p, why doesn't the Trust conduct an orderly wind-up and give us (most of) our 61p back?

Deutsche Bank raises Polar Capital to "buy", price target 635. Bit cautious I'd say, think we could see this getting back towards 700 in the next year or so.

Bill, long-term shareholders could have taken £4-5 years ago but chose not to because of the inherent value we believe lies in this company which is WAY more than £4-5. They won't get my shares for £5 that's for sure!

This applies to the Open Offer, as it says. If you're taking up your allocation in an ISA, that's the Placing, NOT the open offer.

As I said, I expected it to spike but not hold above 50p, for reasons I've explained. Looks like I was spot on doesn't it? This is an important milestone, but it's not the endgame, not even the beginning of the end game.

I don't remember the specific example you've given mathsprof, but it was over 13 years ago so I'm not sure how relevant it is to the current situation. Accepting you've disproved my point. Good luck with your investment.

Yes, but the leak would have to have come from the research facility and, as it's not come during their normal working hours, I'm fairly confident it won't come at all. In any event, if there'd been a leak, the volume would be far greater by now and the price would have rocketed. This Friday's rise is similar to last Friday, maybe a bit of FOMO, maybe shorters squaring their books, all sorts of potential reasons for a late rise but I very much doubt there's been a leak.

This ship has never leaked in the 15+ years I've been aboard. Accepting there are other parties involved now, but it's after midnight Saturday morning in Aus, so I suggest that's unlikely to be the source.

No problem with that rules, but when you ask "So at what price will you trade the shares bought at 10p?" what business is that of yours, or anyone else's other than the buyer? He or she is not accountable to you in that respect.

I speculated last Friday after a similar rise that it might be short sellers squaring their books for the week, wondering again if that is the case today?

Not joining this debate on one side or the other, but what does the buying and selling of one poster have to do with anyone else?
