Peter, 1.515p was the gross amount of the last dividend, so if you've received 1.515p per share you have received the total gross amount with no tax deducted. Hope this helps.

Yes agreed broomtree, & 10x normal volume on Friday which must have been majority sales. Let's hope for a swift resolution & perhaps a rebound in the sp.

I think the market has become used to updates indicating "top end" performance where this one is more "as expected". Taken a hit from FX and the cash position has consequently weakened. However, they've installed record numbers of Revolution laundry machines in H1, and remain "on track to deliver another year of record performance", so on that basis I'm happy to await the next dividend announcement.

Thanks Ben, sub-standard work doesn't help anyone does it? The skills gap is just one outcome of government incompetence over a prolonged period (I speak as a traditional Tory voter). The next lot can hardly do any worse, but can they improve things? Time will tell.

IP3LY (lol) yes I was thinking along those lines, it's probably been thrown out by an AI bot for investigation into possible money laundering/insider dealing because it's such a large amount & 100% of the portfolio. They must have their reasons, but maybe they can't disclose them at this stage? Glass, for clarity, I'm NOT suggesting that either of those things apply in your case, simply that HL (and other brokers) are likely to use AI tools to detect possible wrongdoing and stick them on a pile for further investigation.

So at a quick glance, you must have had your entire £240k invested in OSB to generate £12k of dividend payment - is that right? And you were definitely invested at c.o.p. on 3rd April?

- What has HL told you about the dividend payment?

It's 9.20am on dividend pay day, give them a break! They've got to process hundreds of dividend payments every Thursday. Check again at lunchtime. If you're that desperate for the cash you probably shouldn't be holding your money in shares - put some in an interest-bearing savings account.

Just for clarity, in your HL a/c, portfolio overview, choose your account (e.g. Stocks & Shares ISA).

Click on the "Cash" tab, then choose "Income & Loyalty Bonus".

Click the hyperlink to "Transfer your income balance to your capital account now" and follow the instructions.

That's right zac. I've been with HL for 20-odd years. If you elect to have your dividend automatically reinvested, HL will do that for all your investments after the 10th of each month (as they tell you they will) at no cost. Some minimum investment limits apply, so if you only receive small amounts of dividends they'll just keep accumulating. Meantime, the money clearly sits in your account as cash - it's neither frozen nor in their account. You can sweep it across into your trading pot at any time if you want to use or withdraw the funds. If you don't want them to reinvest the money for you, change your instructions so the cash is paid directly into your trading pot.

Naz, why are you thinking about selling? The way to make money from shares is to buy low & sell high. This might seem obvious, but you'd be amazed how many people want to sell their shares when they've been bombed out but "won't sell a bean" when they're flying high. Hold, if you can, we've all been through a lot of pain here and who knows, (much) better times may be just around the corner.

Monday 10th June, hopefully things progressing in line with or better than forecast. Things have been a bit less gloomy here and elsewhere recently so hopeful of strong activity here.

Remember SAR came nearly all the way down in 5p increments, so far it's gone back up a penny at a time. I'm wondering if the increased spread & holding the bid @ 45p is indicative that we'll start moving in 5p increments again beyond 50p? Let's see...
