Blatant morning raid on stop-losses, no volume to justify the drop. They don't seem to have flushed many out though. Once again emphasises the dangers of setting stop-losses on AIM shares - beware!

Final results today, at the height of the pandemic has returned over 20% in total and intends to pay a dividend of 8p (c. 6%) in 2021 in 4 quarterly instalments. Total return of over 200% in the last 10 years. Currently c. 9% discount to NAV.

To emphasise the point, HeiQ is the subject of Shares Magazine's Under the Bonnet feature this week. It's 3 pages long and only available on subscription, but some of the highlights include:

FarFromHome things seem to have settled down again now don't they? I think, for me anyway, it's a case of sit tight & see what happens. No reason to think this won't recover to recent highs, how long that might take is anyone's guess. Anyway, good luck, take care, atb. K

WS I thought the same thing, but it's not our product that's got the Blue Hat logo, it's the "Subaning" product which apparently doesn't contain FF. Hence kievsky's comment that we wait for ours (Blue Hat approval). That's my interpretation, having re-read from the bottom up instead of top down lol. K

Very weird kievsky. They've tried 1p on the bid but no-one wanted to sell, now they're trying it on the ask but no-one wants to buy! They're going to have to move it, one way or the other, if they want any business. Just hope it goes the right way...

Moon knew what he was doing when he sold out at 8p to fund his posh house in Windsor IMHO. A lot of City types got burned with that transaction, the scars are still visible today.

This is China though, they don't need the snake oil merchants. If it proves to work (blue cap, let's say), then people could be "encouraged" to take it by the state. Alf says 20p is fantasy league stuff, if this gets going in China the sky's the limit! The only constraint would be on the supply side. We've seen a gradual rise towards 1p, once that's gone I think the next leg up could happen much more quickly.

I can appreciate how difficult this is FarFromHome, I've been in a similar position myself on more occasions than I care to remember. If I could offer two suggestions based on my own experiences. The first would be to diversify, and never have all your eggs in one basket. The second is to turn around your thinking - when the price falls, think about buying, not selling. Similarly, if the price is rising, consider selling some to lock-in gains. Remember, a loss is only a loss if you sell. Good luck with your investments, whatever you decide to do.

It's a difficult one to understand Robina, certainly wrong-footed me. The Nasdaq Composite rose nearly 500 points (c. 4%) on Friday after London markets closed, so a drop here of c. 6% this morning is hard to explain. Futures down, bond yield etc etc. but not to this extent. I have noticed that a lot of Trusts with Baillie Gifford connections are taking a hit just now, presumably profit-taking ahead of tax year-end following their stellar performance in the last 11 months, maybe that's in play? Clutching at straws if I'm honest...

So has the fall ended goldbar2? Was 950 the bottom? Have you bought?

OK so I'm just going to put it out there, I don't think there will be a buy out here in the short to medium term. Come back & talk to me about it when the SP gets to c. 10p. In my view, PXS at 10p (c. £220m mcap) would be a more attractive proposition to a By-health or DSM take-out than the current position, where they would be buying, to all intents and purposes, potential future growth with no guarantees of revenues or profits. Just my thoughts, appreciate others see it differently.

Some great info posted here, thanks to all contributors. Like some others, I'm looking at ways to supplement my pension and this seems to fit the bill. Consistent, reliable income stream from a REIT with relatively few moving parts. If anything, the pandemic has served to strengthen our nation's love affair with supermarkets and I don't see that changing any time soon. I will have this in my ISA for the tax-free income, I tend to use my SIPP for "growth" funds and trusts, and a couple of speculative shares, I don't need the income from it yet. GLA. K

Etotheipi the retail offer went through PrimaryBid in December so no reason to think it won't be the same again this time. If I remember rightly, the offer was scaled back by about 60% because of the high demand, so I only received 400 shares for every 1,000 I applied for.
