You do have two other options - sell at a loss or buy to average down - presuming no massive dilution surely we are near the low point? (presuming we survive). Agree though that you would have to be very brave to get too exposed here - DCP is circ 3-4% of my total portfolio at the moment - good news and it might be nearer 10%. BTW good research post over the weekend (in four parts) much appreciated and I hope it did not take up too much time over the weekend GLA

Good planning - it would have cost a fortune going to Mexico this week being half term :-)

I guess if you invested a lot of money in a share that ended up delisted - you MIGHT look for answers until the final nail in well and truly in the coffin - so understand why parkez is continuing to look for answers - I just hope he is not torturing himself..

Thanks for the detailed post - yes, reading the RNS again there are a few hurdles in the way but I be amazed if the funding isn't sorted - at least for the short term. Obviously the share price is reflecting the continued risks gl

If you look - he posts on 20 plus shares every month with the same bullish one liner messages. Probably gets in - pumps - then gets out (without saying).. since I am aware of his game - it no longer bugs me.. it is fine being positive but not to ever acknowledge any downside is a high risk game.. gl

Can't fathom it out either - should rise tomorrow... perhaps the market did not like the terms of the funding but it still sorts out short term issues... company now has the space to consider all options on the table - going to be an interesting 2-3 weeks gl

You are right - the terms for a start are not idea but I think holders have a right to be and to see the positives here - short term funding sorted - at least for a while. I would personally only get concern if we do not get a further update on talks/funding in (say) two weeks or so gl

Last point for now - this is a relief and I am now in a good mood now pmsl and have just added a few more - it looks like the risks - at least for a while - have been greatly reduced G L A :-))

Also even if loan is converted .. on current £13 million market value it would not be significant dilution anyway... it will be the terms for £2.5 million that will be key (if company goes down this route ie. stays independent)

Yep you're right - the proceeds will be enough for £500,000 immediate requirement - indeed £200,000 to give additional time sorry

I read it as borrowed £700k and after charges etc it will be a net £500k ? Apologies if wrong - only just scanned RNS atm

Leave my desk for 20 minutes and guess what happens :-) Good news - short term issues out of the way and space to consider ALL options including a takeover. Shame about possible 30% discount to average share price over term of loan for new shares is converted (think I am reading this right) but the company was never going to get the best terms available. Hopefully further news soon - no share price target but s/b several pennies higher at least imho gl

I never really worked it out but usually AIM shares get taken over, merge or continue by dilution - there are not many long term companies still on the market since inception.. I like the market because share prices move significantly and you are just as likely to have a multi bagger as a damp squid - if you hold 5-10 shares at any one time. As for DCP - the trouble is not many AIM shares trade at their actual NAV value - I can think of a number of companies whose assets are potentially worth multiple times their current market value but rarely ever reach true value because of costs - dilution - litigation - or get taken over cheaply. Sorry for being moody and apologies for singling Goldfinger33 out - it's just a bug bear of mine that posters like to tell us how rich they are or were they are posting from (South Africa seems the favourite) .. I probably will be in a better mood once funding is sorted or an offer made

Well done - but this is the problem with letting everyone know how much you have invested. If it all goes pear shaped (this is a general point - not about DCP per se) we also will know how much you have probably lost.. personally I don't see the point of telling everyone how much I have invested (what I can afford to lose) but for some it must make them feel good letting the world know... this is AIM and there are as many losers as winners so a decent spread of holdings is vital imho gl
