Gone global? LOL can we get some sense back in to the thread now? We are talking about a tiny UK company - not Twitter or Microsoft making the front page headlines - we are talking about one article on one website and instead of saying “Director sell” they say “insider” - maybe it’s the American language - but can people calm down a bit? Yes - a director has sold down some of his holding - but it’s not a division going bust or a major profits warning - we do have some drama queens on here - at the end of the day if he has done someone illegal it’s on HIM and not the company who were informed late on Friday - and if people don’t believe DC then contact him and tell him directly!!

True - although I have never heard of them and I am doubtful we have many US investors - but it’s more negative coverage

Well they are useless at reporting then as he actually sold 500,000 shares on the 4th November - he actually did six separate trades over six separate days but reported the total sold over this period on the 4th - btw I wonder why this Wall Street mag is interested in little old LVCG??!!

Sue, as I said Friday - DC is planning an interview - I was unsure whether to mention it as it came from an email to me but I didn’t seem that information market sensitive nor do I have any details as to where or when this interview will take place - probably this coming week I would hope. Personally I prefer an investor presentation event as the gap between these is too long and just means the questions pile up giving more oxygen to those who want to see the negative view (they don’t need to as the share price is doing it for them and shareholders would really be thinking of reasons to hold/buy here if they had any sense)

Btw wasn’t Glastonbury cancelled a while back due to covid - people would have booked travel etc - didn’t do it any harm!

Strange I look at social media and see over 1,500 likes and 28,000 followers and the comments are mixed. As for Frankfurt the last update said 11,000 tickets had been sold - I suspect the people who go to Frankfurt won’t be the ones who go to London - as least some trolls are consistent in their half truths and negative agendas for whatever weird reasons

Sue - you are right - for a start, we now know that Formula-e is ON - no ifs or maybes there. What is the potential revenue etc? Tell us! Ditto StartArt - how successful was London? What’s the plans for next year? More gallery events? Tell us! Most of the drift is fed up selling due to no financial guidance - how likely is it that the company will return to profit next year? Tell us!!!!

Another non holder !!! DYOR for once as three of the sell trades happen BEFORE the tragedy and three afterwards so get your facts right !

Sorry but how many RNSs from any company say “we will DEFINITELY have x events next year”? That’s a hostage to fortune - it’s a bit like DVRG saying recently that “we are PLEASED to dilute shareholders” (literal words). Maybe the tone has changed but then he did promise much in previous investor presentations that were delayed for various reasons so I don’t blame him for being a bit more cautious going forward and perhaps when we have the next long overdue presentation he will keep to the same more cautious outlook? Btw I can’t think of another thread were some peoples are so obsessed with one individual as many companies have CEOs that take too much control or promise the earth (usually with mining shares) and don’t get half the coverage or abuse as DC - even if some of it is warranted!!

I can’t even remember this poster being in this thread before - perhaps years ago. My advice is that he would “worry” about his investments and let us “worry” about ours - why non holders want to add their two pence all the time is beyond me. As for the selling - he started before the tragedy and probably wanted the cash instead of the shares in the first place BUT the StartArt acquisition related shares are subject to an one year lock in which means he has to keep most of his remaining holding and depending we need a trading update in the very least to reassure the market - but as I said yesterday - directors buy and sell all the time and usually it has no effect on the share involved so a bit like the mini budget - people seem to have taken this far more badly than it it had been on another share - properly due to the likely market abuse which is fair enough!

Agree we will have to disagree as I am not worried (atm) about the COMPANY future prospects but I am annoyed about this Director - swift action from the company next week re explanation of recent events or Director suspension is needed - time to switch off and enjoy the weekend

Jimmy - do you get “worried” every time a director sells ? Or indeed “excited” every time a director buys? As I said earlier, Director trades rarely move a share price these days and constant Director buying on a few shares I hold didn’t make a difference as sentiment was poor - agree though it seems in this case the director in question had not informed the company - which says more about him than the company - although I picked up the large rounded trades over the last few weeks and I am sure I wasn’t the only one!!!

Two points - if he is guilty of market abuse - can he be stopped from having more shares re future payments of the StartArt acquisition - although I think he is locked in for a year with these particular shares already (read the RNSs on the revised terms). Point 2 - DC wants to sell this company at a far higher price so please put the delisting crap to bed - very unlikely he could sell up while delisted - plus he holds 24% of the shares not over 50% so any vote to delist is not guaranteed to be approved anyway - we are apparently due an interview from DC and I bet he wants to get a few things off his chest - plus not sure why some non holders are angry at him (this time) as he didn’t do any of the selling!!!!!!!

Well since the tweet has 1,500 likes and many agreeing with the decision - I repeat - you are making an assumption about the reason(s) for the cancellation - next you be saying 150 plus people didn’t die last weekend with many more injured and that SK isn’t in national moaning - to be frank I am sick of non holders appearing on shares they don’t hold to gloat - so easy to do - some people actually enjoy seeing others lose money - and quite frankly it’s sick and LSE should insist people only post on shares they actually hold - would make it a far more enjoyable website

A bit like MOS eh? (As an ex holder) trouble being there are Directors on AIM and small cap markets that give the sectors a bad name - sometimes you have to have dilution as there is no alternative funding - sometimes directors sell - sometimes events are cancelled - it’s just bad to have all happening in a short space or time but I don’t agree with your assumptions - the tragedy warrants the cancellation - ticket sales or not!

Not too sure I care usually about Director trades anymore. On BOOM a director was purchasing shares day in day out for weeks and still the share price tank - so do they really effect share prices anymore? Agree though he would have known about the probable cancellation so he has some explaining to do - at least he sold at a massive loss :-)

The ligation is not just a rumour - it has been completely rejected by LVCG - read their tweets!!!! It’s a real shame that LTHs are now just seeing the negatives are not looking at the potential positives for 2023 - I guess a falling share price does this to some individuals while others - like me - will add and wait - I am in no rush - will just have to put back by retirement from 55 to 56/57. As Sue said - the e- formula may be a game changer - btw I contacted the company earlier as I said I would :-) an interview with DC is planned - I don’t have any further details as he isn’t my best mate :-)
