2. Existing shareholders are encouraged to participate with an attractive rights issue offer. I see this scenario very likely as it safeguards both IIs and PIs . Then again I could be wrong.
Finally I agree with addictnt. We need to overcome the hurdle of financing in order to finish the plant and see cashflows at last coming in - in about 18 months time. As we go ahead the negative effects of dilution will dissipate and the sp will rerate accordingly.

Addicknt If I remember correctly some time ago you expressed the opinion that BCN would be sold rather than go to production. Do you still believe this is a possibility? I do- though to a lesser extend now. However I see the rise of the last few days and the significant volumes (except yesterdays volume) as one of two things:
Either finance has been arranged or some sort of a sale agreement has been agreed and those in the know are loading up. I am glad that though you sold your shares you are still here sharing your concerns and valued opinion with us.

as it brings BCN one step nearer to production. If this is the case it could also be inferred that the management is extremely confident that the remaining finance will soon be in place .

Addicknt I think you are correct about the "cash burn" but it is not necessarily worrying. It could simply mean that the management being certain that the remaining finance will be in place soon they are using the borrowed funds towards the construction of the plant to avoid further delays. Barksys quote from todays RNS indicates just that in my opinion
