OBS How much do you value the joint ventures?

Perhaps the next sale will be the joint ventures with BCN as no value is expected from these assets in the near future.
The problem is that the only buyer willing to buy them at this stage will be BCN who can decide if and when to develop them .The advantage for BCN of such a deal is enormous if they decide to sell their activities in Mexico.

Perhaps now they will ...for pennies.

-Somebody with a lot of free shares like the Orr-Ewing Estate or a share holder who had shares from the early days of listing in Canada ?
-somebody desperate like KDNC and /or
-BR reducing further their holding?

I believe he will make every possible effort to at least recoup his investment

Having said that a some directors buy at these prices could help lift the spirits

"DEUTSCHE LITHIUM PROJECT – GERMANY

The Company holds 50% interest in a jointly controlled entity, Deutsche Lithium GmbH, a project located in southern Saxony, Germany, adjacent to the border of the Czech Republic and within 5 kilometres of the towns of Altenberg and Freiberg. The Company acquired its interest in February of 2017 for a cash consideration of EUR 5 million (approximately $7,105,000) and an undertaking to contribute up to EUR 5 million toward the costs of completion of a feasibility study, which is anticipated to take approximately 18 - 24 months. The Company has an option to acquire the remaining 50% of the jointly controlled entity, alone or together with any reasonably acceptable third party within a 24 month period for EUR 30 million. "

February is not far away

The fact that only a few days ago a representative of BR spoke of the excellent prospects of lithium in the near future (unfortunately I did not safe the link) makes you wonder why they decided to decrease/sell off their holding in BCN.

Are they fed up with the management of BCN?
Dissatisfied with the appointment of City Group for the remaining funding?
Shift in investing policy?
When did they start selling? Was their sale initiation that is responsible for the demise of the sp since the aborted funding or even before? Maybe their loss is not as big as we originally thought...

If I remember correctly AIM rules require a company to update only when there has been a change in their shareholding structure - i.e.: if they have issued shares or options; or if they have been notified by a significant shareholder (>3%) of a change in their position via them filing a TR-1. It is the significant shareholder’s obligation to inform the company if they have moved through one of the tests, not the company The significant shareholder I think -could be wrong-has 3 days to file the TR-1.Thus the expected RNS could be as late as tomorrow

Is it possible that KDNC teamed with a 3rd party with deep pockets that wants a controlling stake in BCN in exchange for the sale and/or development of the JVs and thus indirectly covering the huge loss they took from the sale of the shares ?

The 1.125M question is not only who was the seller but also who is the buyer.
