Helipad, if it goes bust, Shetty & new investors will buy it for peanuts and revive it. Shareholders will get virtually zip. Same with sxx, Anglo got it cheap, shareholders stuffed.

Ok , not a huge number yet, but why would they short at all? After all, they are the financial advisors! They should know the only way is up? Unless it isn't!

It's obvious, Freeh report will be bad, and sp collapses to £2. Shetty and unknown investor buy nmc for a £5. Their advisors have advised to short, so they'll make a £5 a share anyway from their stake.. The takeover will be even cheaper then.
This is not a takeover. What if there is a bookbuild?12 Feb 2020 20:58
What if Shetty gets it agreed that 900m shares are created at £5 each, where both parties get half. This would give him overall control, at the expense of other shareholders and stuff us all.
Two directors are frozen out, and Shetty doesn't know how many shares he has. If any deal is done, they'd have to be bought from the open market, and they'd probably wait after the review.
Dogger, I was doing the same. I got out today at 780, couldn't risk anymore. I've taken all my savings and just paid off my mortgage today. Don't trust myself with the money. I now have nothing in my back account apart from this month's salary.
