Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
We rarely get rampers here. Very entertaining.
....since even the possibility of ex Fianna Fail man Conroy being ousted arose. No matter what what happens thousands of PIs will never get their money back but imagine going from an almost 100% loss to 'only' losing around 80% or even 60%. This rebellion may or may not be more successful than it already has been but it sire got things moving. Lol.
I am a victim and a victim's advocate, spoofer. Your faux-outrage on our behalf would be far more hurtful than TW's comments if anybody other than those reading these BBS heard either of them. It should be noted (now you've created another straw man argument) Fianna Fail struck an appalling deal with the Catholic church where the latter only had to pay Euro400,000,000 between thousands of victims. FF callously sold out clerical abuse victims to protect their religious rural vote. One Professor Conroy was a member of Fianna Fail. They have been mired in corruption for decades. That's why I knew I should never have invested in anything associated with Fianna Fail. Conroy decimated the CGNR sp to the tune of over 99.7%. He and his family and friends were paid handsomely for this appalling incompetency. A small part of what enabled this to happen was the part played by lying dampers on these BBS. The one remaining spoofer has proven they will go to any levels to ramp the dog that is CGNR - even pretending to be hurt on behalf of victims of the christian brothers. Shame on you.
https://www.google.ie/amp/s/amp.independent.ie/irish-news/christian-brothers-withdraws-offer-to-give-127m-to-redress-scheme-35517885.html The Irish Independent is the biggest selling Irish daily by a mile. Read the article before yogi/GoldenEye gets it removed. It describes how the christian brothers tried to avoid paying Euro127,000,000 to a redress board for victims of their abuse. The christan brothers are despised by the vast majority of Irish people. The post below stating TW has already insulted Dubliners and Irish people is a complete and utter lie. Moreover, it's beyond irrelevant. I just don't like liars.
Quite the last half hour. No longer disappointed!
I'm a bit disappointed with the sp reaction so far. I thought this RNS would put minds at rest about Sib.Maybe it'll pick up.
Mcco, when the news of a 'rebellion' broke the sp rose by over 100%. It then retraced to around 75% up. Since yesterday's pretty disgraceful behaviour by the bod (not to mention awful new bod appointees) the sp has gone back up to an almost 100% rise again (since the initial 'rebellion' announcement). It started at a low sp but 100% is 100%.
It's certainly interesting. If this drill is successful the sp will shoot up. If it isn't I can see 1.2p until further developments in 2018. Sib is the golden egg.
It won't plummet but it could go to 1.77 or so. Very low sp for a company producing nearly 3,000 bopd (1,500 net due jv).
Lol. I'm watching it, Web. Folk are currently awaiting drilling results. Not due for a few weeks yet. Nothing to be said, it appears.
Kayakman, your post was polite (if not utterly misguided) until your stupid dig at the end. If you think posters are using two or more usernames report the usernames. In other words put up or shut up. Also, if you think a company whose bod has overseen a 99.7% sp drop over 13 years of false promises, has so few unhappy investors that we have to use more than one username to make our point then you're an idiot. There'd be a whole lot more angry posters here except for the fact that most were sensible enough to sell before.what everyone thought was rockbottom I.e. around 230p. I bought in then at even lower at 213p*. You do the maths before posting patronising and accusatory waffle. *all values converted to post-scamsolidation prices.
The bod does not understand democracy (or manners, courtesy, decency, transparency, honesty and so many other honourable attributes). That's why Mr. O'Sullivan and his allies (with the blindingly obvious support of the majority of PIs) was forced to take court action. Not only did the bod completely and utterly decimate the sp but even in their greed-infested dying grasp they're still costing shareholders money.
Fair point, joe. I don't know. I don't really care anyway because the main achievement of the dissidents should be to give the useless bod a good kick in the hole. That's been done. Maybe now the company will behave like a ..well...company.
Possibly, glenalmond. I expect if he's rightfully dumped the first thing the new bod will have to do is sort out the mess he would be leaving behind. Then announce a plan (a real plan unlike conroy's September 2014 bs RNS). Maybe that new plan will be attractive to IIs because funding will be required. To get back to your point, if conroy is dumped I think changing the company name is an absolute must. The reputational damage to CGNR caused by years and years of achieving absolutely nothing needs all the help it can get in being erased. A name change might help a little. That all being said, who knows what way things will go regarding getting rid of conroy. I certainly don't know.
He's Goldeneye5 on ADVFN. The same spoofery and anger. It's odd because last week he claimed without any doubt that CGNR having 6 bod members dumped by the shareholders was actually a victory for the bod!! LOL. Anyway, I'm down around the 85% mark after the predictable sp spike from the great news of the possible changes. Using post-scamsolidation prices I got in around 213p in 2013, I think the year was. I remember reading yogi/goldeneye5 and a few others who copped on and dumped their shares. In 2013 they were pondering the utter collapse in the sp from around 1,100p and yogi/goldeneye5 was 100% vcertain that the sp would bounce back. He was predicting jam tomorrow on an almost daily basis. News tomorrow, big RNS coming etc etc. Every single disappointment he brushed off with "there'll be news next week". If I'm down nearly 90% having got in at a time he was discussing being already down from 1,100p to 213p his holding here has to be neglible. My point is he is not posting here for the benefit of CGNR holders, he is posting here because the CGNR instability may have a negative impact on his lesser-losing investment - conroy's other lifestyle farce KDR. I would not believe a word out of his mouth.
It's an awful indictment that O'Sullivan had to seek court injunctions to prevent Conroy from diluting again or adding to the bod before the new GM - again. Be in no doubt that O'Sullivan would not have taken these actions unless he had very good reason to do so. Note also that this time (the new GM proposal) Conroy did not state there would be no dilution. Regardless, these injunctions will utterly discourage dilution before the GM - mission accomplished. Nevertheless, I have no idea whether a new bod can undo the shocking reputational damage done by Conroy, family and friends. All I know for certain is that for the first time since the 29/09/2014 RNS proclaiming a definitive mining program turned out to be just more bs, I have hope. I'd sooner see CGNR go down with a fight than with another 15 years of dilution.
Not willing to take them forward, more likely. Why would they? A bunch of family and friends doing SFA and getting handsomely paid for it. Hopefully the successful action by the rebels (which may well end up being even more successful) might see the market change its mind a little about the Conroy-destroyed CGNR reputation. Despite Conroy still being on the bod of this gold mining company we may even live to see them actually get some gold out of the ground.
