SuperRoty, you and I had healthy discussions about Rose's demise or not. The sp was many multiples of what it is now. Even at those prices you repeatedly stated with certainty that the sp was just about to rise. It merely plummeted and plummeted. I believe it is dying now for the same reasons I did last year and the year before - the market does not like it one bit. It has no money. Its bod are incompetent. Whatever assets exist are shyte. The consolidation should have been called a scamsolidation because it was designed for one reason - to continue paying the bod's wages, nothing more.
A drop of 9 or 10% on the 0.93 sp of 28/02/2018 is obviously bad by any standards but the decline in sp is slower than I expected so I suppose that's a positive. However, considering what a few posters here have been calling magnificent RNSs in the last week or so, one would have to consider the 9 or 10% sp drop as appalling. At least I know that's what I would think if I were a potential new investor reading this BB. Anyhoo, best of luck.
I think PJ must be seething at being fooled again into parting with more cash. Him coupled with the victims of last year's sneaky court 'win' would make an unbeatable team (in terms of further litigation). I know it's highly unlikely CGNR will ever actually become a profitable mining company but my hope would be that a successful bod coup, a change of name ('CGNR' is far too tainted), a new plan with a goddamned timeframe, Conroy and family gone and a new dynamic bod in place could lead to a decent sp spike. Then I (and others) could get the hell out of here with only bad losses rather than horrendous losses. Finally, I'm seeing a dying candle at the end of the tunnel. Positivity rocks!!
Remember this from 13/09/2017 when the sp was many multiples of what it is now? "Nurturing it with fertiliser". Was that poem written by Idiens? Lol. On a serious note, I believe Rose is in very serious trouble. Earlier this year I expressed my concerns having been a watcher for years. We've had assurances from one or two posters that .15, .13, .10, .08 etc etc were the absolute bottom. Alas, that hasn't been the case. What's going on now is that investors are gambling on the sp going up and down before the placing. There could be no other reason for buying way above the proposed placing price. Anyway, like I said in February or March, I hope I'm wrong but I think Rose is dying a slow death." I still believe Rose is dying although the rate of dying seems to be increasing.
RedDwarfer, they gave up saying the money is there for acquisitions after I highlighted that line twice. What I'm saying now is that they are using expressions such as 'they have money for "chasing" acquisitions'. To a novice's eye that would sound like they have the money for acquisitions when they only have money for evaluating acquisitions. It's that kind of sneaky ramping that needs to be called out. I should say it's the same person every time - a person I don't even have to name.
In the above RNS it states categorically, unequivocably and beyond a shadow of a doubt the following line (copied and pasted directly from said RNS: "The proceeds of the Placing will be put towards funding Mosman's evaluation of new acquisition opportunities and for general working capital purposes." Some posters are being very disingenuous by twisting words to make this sound like the company has money for acquisitions - IT DOES NOT. It has money (as it clearly states) for the funding of EVALUATION of new acquisition opportunities, not funding for to pay for an acquisition.
Popeye, MSMN does NOT have some money for investment. They stated in the RNS that the last placing was for ongoing admin costs and EVALUATION of potential deals. I won't copy and paste the sentence from the RNS but it's there for everyone to read.
This old dog must be due an RNS soon. It's disappointing that the bod have reneged on their guarantee to keep investors updated regularly.
Sparkyboy1, there was a share consolidation of100 shares to 1 so today's 23p is 0.23p in pre-consolidation terms. The SP has gone from 1100p to 0.23p. On an aside, at the time of the share consolidation several of us noted how share prices look better than they actually are once a consolidation is done. Another smokescreen. In fact, I frequently referred to it as a 'scamsolidation'. But as we can see it does work on those whose research does not include reading RNSs.
Coffeecups, do you really believe that was the first successful drill? I wish you nothing but good luck but you have not researched CGNR at all. This is 23 years of milking investors, literally scores of 'magnificent' test results, and not a single ounce of gold mined. The sp is down precisely 99.98% from its high (see ADVFN for calculations). Every couple of years a 'new plan' comes along and new investors think CGNR simply cannot go any lower.... but it does... every single time.
I'm afraid CONroy has lost all credibility at this stage. No further amount of the endless magnificent test results which make him 'delighted' will make any difference. GOLD NEEDS TO BE GOTTEN OUT OF THE GROUND. 3 years saying this but: WE NEED A TIMEFRAME.
Great day though. Enjoy the big sp jump.
Congrats to all holders...25% up today.
The market is utterly sick and tired of CGNR. After yet another magificent RNS about jam tomorrow the market just doesn't care. Note there is still no timeframe. Are the bod being stubborn or have they really been unable to say when they'll actually mine the bloody gold. Test after test after test for 23 years........... Absolutely disgraceful.
...here today. Congrats on a lovely sp jump.
