The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
...to all holders on today's performance. Looks like a buy here.
Hey granto. Yep, still here. I always said I'd stay for Sibkrayevskoye - the golden egg. I agree that Maxim would neevr have invested another million unless he was confident. Nice to see a decent volume and the sp rising.
Financially covered for 2018. I expect an sp rise here today. About time.
Hey Bckttsim, if you had any confidence in CON you wouldn't be ramping it on numerous other bbs and ADVFN.
Disappointing really. They still have Sib to come and there would appear to be negotiations going on in the background. A Sib farm-in would not surprise me. RNS due any day now but whether it's good or bad is another story!
Hi manonboard. Long time no hear! I hope you are well. The sp here dropped as low as 11p (post=scamsolidation) and only a shareholder (major shareholders) rebellion saved what's left of this dog. I don't see any hope as long as conroy remains in control. I'm sick of it now. Anyway, good luck to you. I suggest you read the ADVFN BB around the time of the rebellion. Entertaining stuff.
Terribly disingenuous post. NewForestLad. You state your three tips from last year went from X sp to Y sp. But the 'Y' price was their peak. So unless you sold at each of their highs it's impossible to know if you made any money at all.
Meh, there's people in here long before me who are losing over 99%. When I got in in 2013 the regulars were wondering how such a magnificent company had dropped 90% of its value. Buying on the lows (the singularly worst advice anyone could anyone ever) would have made even less sense than it normally does as surely the sp could not drop any further - it did, massively. It has since dropped another 90% of the absolute 'rockbottom ' I got in at!! As sure as night turns to day when this PJ-inspired pumpndump is over the sp will plummet again. CGNR has absolutely zero interest whatsoever in smaller PIs. We are a means to an end and have always been for 23 goldless years. I could write a book on the bs I've experienced being messed around with by CGNR. And every year or so there's a new line of bs and every year fools like I was believe the bs. I wish new investors luck but don't say you weren't warned.
Thanks ogm4. If you didn't have such a negative impact on every single share bb you flood with ramping drivel, you might carry even a scintilla of respect. As it is you're turning people off investing here. Please stop.
This was once over £11 and has since had a major consolidation. The maths are hard to believe but some of the very long term holders are down over 99.9%, I'm in 4 years and I'm down 'only' 87% after today's rise.
...effects are finally happening. It's a pity it took such serious action by investors to get things moving but there you have it. I'll believe progress when I see it. Welcome to all the new names that appeared today. Your sincerity is not doubted by every single long term holder. Not at all.
You explain to us why market history is riddled with £1.5m investments that went down the Swannee. I posted here a few months ago saying that BZM has an awful history of being pumped and dumped. and that I was sure it was in the middle of a major pump and dump right then. Rather than discuss my points the greedy rampers got my post removed. The sp was 1.84 when I posted. It closed at 0.84 yesterday.
I keep missing these big risers. Oh well. Best of luck all.
Not in myself but just heard about UOG on RTE (Irish national broadcaster). RTE normally covers major companies and/or Irish companies. To hear the likes of UOG mentioned is very unusual. I wish I had money to throw in here but I don't! Think you're in for a huge few days. Best of luck.
I wonder would Conroy ever merge CGNR and KDR. Although both companys are obviously destroyed, with the right PR hype supported by the usual mega-rampers on BBS, the bod could continue their shareholder-funded lifestyle for another year or two. Worth thinking about as I sense there might still be a few idiots left whom they haven't milked completely yet.
As a holder since 2013 (as everyone knows) I can say CGNR is the worst investment I ever made. Not only is it a farcical company to be a part owner of, but I also feel tainted by being associated with a company which is under investigation by the financial authorities.
