I agree that it is most likely Hav will be sold and GGP move on as an explorer. However, if NC do not buy the remaining 25/30% but start mining then by default we become a JV miner even though we don't own a spade let alone a digger. Very unlikely in my opinion.

Yes it seems strange that the board is mainly blue but the running totals show greater sell totals than buys. I must have missed a stack of sells to get to 8m+ sells! I know you can't trust the buys/sells recording on LSE but equally that must apply to the accumulative totals. There may be a sell being arranged in the background which will be declared at COP. I cant' think of any other reason.

Dip666..agree very interesting interview with Peter Grosskopf of Sprotts. Clearly they see GGP as one of their 1 in a hundred companies that are worth investing in. Thanks for putting the link up.

Rameriz.....how many shares has Sanderson at UKOG bought with his own money? How many have the BODs bought with their own money? Now look at the GGP board and ask the same question. I'm in both companies and very disappointed with UKOG. Fortunately I've covered my losses on GGP. Its like comparing chalk with cheese!!

Just logged on. Am I right in saying Gervaise and Callum have sold shares to fund their share options thus increasing their shareholding. i.e. they are investing back into the company albeit at a very advantageous price which is part of the package of remuneration.

Share price stayed above/ on 12p so solid support if Prim have been selling. Shares hoovered up.

Agree, seems pointless. Share price treading water now. At 12.50p many PIs will not be able to afford big purchases. IIs are now key to eye watering purchases and not seen many of those today.

The news coming may be Newmont back to drill Ernest Giles on similar JV as Newcrest and Hav. Gold price rising may make them take a look again. They didn't dismiss it last time simply said not at this point in time. May be more commercial this time. Just a thought!

Thanks Paddy. I think, as before, this is a very conservative target. Once reached I'm sure they will move it up again.

With world stockmarkets tumbling there will be growing move to the safe haven of gold. Augers well for Greatland over the next 9-12 months. Tasmania coming on stream as a strong gold mining area as well according to Australian Mining. Then we have Scallywag which I think could be the real driver in due course and Ernest Giles which I think Newmont or one of the biggies might revisit. With positive results I can see this share moving towards 50p over the next 12-24 months and higher over 3/5 years.

Good article in Australian Mining today. Suggests Tasmania is also going to be the place to be for gold mining. A New Era Dawning!!!! We have Warrentina and Firetower tenements on our booksin Tasmania as well as the prospective tenements near Hav. Greatland have all the 'hall marks' ( excuse pun) of a once in a generation outstanding investment.

Holly14...that would be like the local corner shop merging with Tesco's or Sainsbury's to form a new company. very unlikely. GGP is a small exploration company based in Australia with no producing assets, Newcrest is a world major mining company.

GGP still own 100% of Scallyway but are named on the licence to remove one the eventual hurdles they have to negotiate. To me it indicates that in their opinion NCM and GGP it is worth including on prelim data. Needs a lot more drilling so very similar to Hav arrangement. GGP drill enough for NCM to take over drilling and produce MRE for similar amounts of cash. Hopefully more than they got for Hav !!

Brilliant statement in my opinion, so we will repeat the drilling process on Blackhills etc while we build the mine at Hav. I thought 20p was a long shot here but I'm beginning to think it has the potential for a lot more. Roll on the interim results.
