Nobby..you're now in the gamble/risk phase. Many on here, myself included think that within a year this will be double in price. All the evidence is in our favour. However, if NC decided, for whatever reason, it wasn't economical to mine, the price will drop back to well below 5p. You pays your money and takes the risk now!! For me it's a calculated risk and worth taking for potentially high reward. You could argue on the evidence we have it's been substantially de-risked. Good luck in making your decision.

I'm sure some of those big investments were as a result of some knowledge that we are not privy too. You don't gamble that sort of money on a whim! Encouraging to my mind.

Thanks Paddy just found the quarterly release date...23rd July in their investor centre calendar. I should have looked before asking.

The last NC Exploration report was up to 31st March so the next will be to 30th June. can anyone remember when in April the report was made available to investors so as to give an indication when in July the next report will be made available.

Spratt...never forget NC will own 70% of the company at the point they have to offer. If it went to a vote as to whether the offer is fair value do they get to vote proportionally to their % ownership? I don't know. I do know I lost a company and the decision making control by selling 52% of the company to raise finance.

On all the evidence we have one does not need a 'nod and a wink...its a TO coming' from a possible tip from a friend or aquaintance!! Its pretty obvious I would say that at some point NC will buy Hav from Greatland. I can't see them buying blind on Scallyway or Blackhills or any other tenement that has not been proved up. Major companies do not do that. They are answerable to their shareholders and are professionals not amateurs. Look how much they are spending and time taken in proving up Hav. Share price movement today is to be expected after such a storming run. Shares never go up in a straight line. It will start to climb again as we get nearer to the next set of results in 7-10 days time, possibly sooner. The sad thing is that as PI's sell, the shares will be scooped up by the more experienced and the II's. Having said that if you are sitting on a major profit and are happy not to take any further risk then why not sell. Some will kick themselves if this then doubles or more from here. Some will still be happy. For me I'm staying for the buy out.

Tymers... as a holder of these (2m) I wish I could be convinced to buy more. What makes you so confident? I have supported the board all the way through, written letters to Surrey Council in support of planning etc. I know a fledgling oil company is going to be a slow burn but I am yet to be convinced I will get my original investment back let alone further investments.

I agree, nothing is certain today. We are living in unprecedented times. GGP is the only company I feel comfortable with at the moment but nothing is guaranteed. We all have some nightmare investments. Looks like I've lost £50k on Frontera Resources this week which I was ridiculously exposed on. My fault and my fault only! If it's going to have an impact on your day to day life sell when you are up by 10%. Still better than you get in the banks!!

It's a fair question to ask Scottie and I've been in that boat to the tune of £100,000 plus (real cash) not paper profits. It's a risk you take when you play the AIM market but with high risk comes high reward and you only need one really successful company and the mortgage is paid off, car's ordered, yachts in the marina and retirement comes early. Didn't someone on this board become a millionaire on Friday? Suggest dont talk to family about it unless the loss is going to affect them...then you have to. Yes its lonely but if you're successful I can assure you you won't be lonely!! As an aside I made the £100k back on Greatland plus a lot more. Fingers crossed it doesn't go pear shaped. It doesn't look like it will but be prepared. I didn't think SXX would but that's another story!!

Agree with Hopefully, boats sink money faster than my wife and she's got an Oxbridge first in it. Mooring fees are a major. To moor mine and service 2 engines £10,000 a year. Lifting out and chocking £150 plus, Tank of fuel at discount £1,200 for 700 miles if staying at 10 knots. It's one thing buying the boat another funding its continued use!! Having said that best time of my life living on it and cruising for months. As suggested speak to an experienced owner re buying and costing the boat. I learnt so much from the experience of others.

I'm surprised 9p has become such a strong resistant point having sailed past it before and held. Any round figure is usually a resistant point but today has surprised me.

Jerry..I note what you are saying and understand your point. Don't the options have a date deadline they must be purchased by or they are lost. I see it as 4.5m sold at a much higher price to purchase 17.5m at at a very low price. 13m additional shares valued at a much higher price gives him, on paper, a very healthy profit. Eventually he could have 17.5m x say 20p or £3.5m as opposed to 4m x 20p or £800,000 less the initial purchase price of course....a bit of a difference!!

It's a brilliant move by GH and I would have done the same 13,000, 000 more shares in his portfolio. To me it signals that he knows where this is going and he is building the largest shareholding he can. It's a minor dilution but again it diminishes the risk for us. The fact that he's done it now may indicate that NCs buyout or additional interest in SW is about to come to fruition. Isn't there a period that Directors cannot buy or sell either side of news that may affect the share price? Perhaps it doesn't apply to options but for me this is good news.
