Paddy...on the basis of your figures if GGP stay in a JV on 30 or 25% what does that make GGPs stake worth. It's not as simple as 30or 25% of surely. Do GGP have to contribute to CAPEX or OPEx and I believe Telfer operates as an independent
company within the NC group charginging processing fees. Do GGP contribute separately towards Telfer.

6% up per day will do me. The 5 day trend line is more important and that is ascending so should see 5p by end of week if not earlier.

Trend line since 23rd March clearly upwards despite small buy/sell fluctuations. I can see no reason why this should not continue taking us past 5p by the end of the week if not sooner.

There are 3652m shares in the system. I wonder how many shareholders this represents. Is there data anywhere relating to number of shareholders. I know it's a moving feast but it would be interesting to know if the number is diminishing I.e. someone is buying up as they come onto the market. Just wondering if NC are buying on the open market prior to buying final 5% at fair value. Do they have to buy on the open market and if not where does that 5% come from? New shares? Just early morning musings!

Any sells being soaked up. Should start moving again soon. Sad for those forced to sell due to loss of jobs etc. I really feel for them especially with the potential of this share.

Sailed past 4.50p a natural resistance point. People hanging onto their shares and few in circulation. Should see further gains today and wouldn't surprise me to see us back over 5p.

Psychologically and financially to NC it will make a difference. They are hardly going to sell it back or walk away having spent millions drilling it and 'singing from the rooftops' about what a unique find it is. They could sell it on to a mid cap I suppose but then the Telfer processing plant becomes obsolete. All we need to do is sit this one out for 12- 18 months if that and we will see a good return on GGP IMO.

Given the spread and the volatility in this share I'm surprised any trader can make money. Buy low and sit on your hands for 6-12 months would be my advice. Easy to lose a million or best part of it in today's market.

joe ....the response was the idiotic post, not yours. Short selling is simply manipulation of the market to make a profit. It does nothing for the company or the genuine investors. I'm amazed its allowed and in my opinion its the extreme and unpleasant side of capitalism.

I agree with Jersey. It would seem to me it offers nothing to investors except a way of manipulating the market to make a profit and in my book that's not investing.

Whilst I realise shorting is effectively just another 'gambling' strategy I find it difficult to see anything positive in it as far as serious company investing is concerned. It give a false picture of that companies situation. As far as I'm aware it's not allowed in a number of other countries. Am i incorrect in my view. I don't know enough about the process to really comment but it just seems like financial manipulation of the markets to me.

yes but GH buying 2m on the open market means he's pretty confident of this asset and the JV with NC. He didn't have to buy. He has plenty already.

Could NC be buying? Easy way of getting more than 70%. Plenty of buys going through and price is falling!! Being manipulated me thinks.

as you say Johnny " is proving up" ....unfortunately not yet proved hence why we are not in double digits. lnvestors will join in their droves on MRE and/ or decision to mine taken and officially stated by NC. Being a lTI I think anything below 4.50p is a snip.
