I thought this would get lots of hate mail from shareholders on the CEG board, but to my surprise it was the opposite:

Why not? It is my understanding that to make green hydrogen the power source has to be a renewable, either hydro, solar or wind. Ireland does not have enough of these resources even to generate enough power required for its own industry & heating homes, and will not for at least a decade. Seriously, they are now planning to use energy sources they do not have to EXPORT hydrogen? Sounds like another ludicrous idea from Minister Ryan, who appears to be away with the leprechauns.

The last time we were at the stage of having three identified potential orebodies, the share price was over three times what it is now. This time, the conductors are clustered around one feature, rather than spread across different geological regions, are better defined by more TDEM, B1 has a higher conductance reading, and are about to have CSAMT performed to define the drill target even more precisely. Hopefully this represents a significant turning point.

It occurs to me that before agreeing to an all-share deal with KAV for the KCB, POW would have wanted to see the report on the KSZ, to get an idea of the value they were receiving. This may have resulted in the delay in issuing the report. There is thus a distinct possibility that we minions may get to see it this week.

I thought it must be Herbert Clark Hoover, US President who oversaw the Great Depression, which might make it relevant - 'doing an HCH'. Mrs Oz. who specialise in female healthcare, tells me it is Horizontal Clitoral Hood, but that sounds like too much of a mouthful to me.

Agricore - thank you for doing the sums, I was really pushed for time when the RNS came out (approaching my bedtime!).
At the moment, we have it cheap with little dilution. If things pan out, we will have got it even cheaper, plus the cash from the future warrants. I repeat what I said when I started this thread, I see this as a good deal for everybody. In particular, KAV can go ahead at their own pace, in their own way, without the constant need for consultation and agreement. In particular, it will make future deals a great deal easier, whether they be little ones such as Legalwolf has pointed out - simplifying the Mindea arrangements - or larger ones such as the JV with Anglo-American. Oh, I didn't say that.

Seriously though, I am well up on the KCB, I have formerly held shares in Sandfire, Galileo & MOD. imho KAV have some fantastically prospective ground, which they have been exploring in a comprehensive manner with leading-edge geochem & geophys - this will greatly enhance the cost-effectiveness of upcoming drilling. Take a look back at some of those maps of the huge Morula prospect, showing the pathfinder minerals - this is a Cu prospector's wet dream.

Starvinmarvin. It sounds like you should change your broker. I don't know what country you operate from (US? Canada?) but they don't seem to be overseas-trade friendly. I am based in Australia, and place my trades through a local broker who in turn use Pershing US for all non-Australia trading. I only pay a small broking fee (less than 1% incl UK stamp duty, and I always place limit orders at the London ask price - for ECO on Friday it was 25p bid / 25.5p ask all day. Even largish orders such as 75K would normally go through within an hour. ECO is a bit of an oddity, since its primary quote is on the TSX, for this reason most brokers will only offer you good for the day on the LSE, rather than the more normal good until cancelled.

I recall PG saying that the long term plan for PRD was to use the return from Morocco to invest in Ireland. It was in a video a couple of years back, I can't find it atm, will have another look later when I have more time.

btw, some of these numbers being bandied around today are rather misleading - the NPV of potential economically extractable resources is vastly different to the value of in-ground resources, often by more than an order of magnitude or two. Still nice to have though :-)

That was left field. The maximum payment by KAV to POW is £4.725M. Not at all bad for such a big chunk of the KCB, plus whatever is at Ditau. An all-share deal, so although there is potentially up to 29% dilution if all warrants are exercised, what we get in exchange is a great deal. A simplified ownership of the KCB will make raising additional finance for exploration a lot easier.

It's very kind of you to share your lamentable ignorance with the board.

DITDD004 still holds out hope, let's see what the assay brings. It's important to remember that carbonatites can be very complex geologically, and just because one hole into a km-scale body does not show anything of economic importance, it does not mean that you can write it off.

Things seem to be moving well with the KCB, the structure is already known, more Ngwako Pan/ D'kar contacts have been identified, and the promising extensive set of soil samples showing pathfinder elements is being refined by the new gear (Tromino) revealing the depth of overburden. This is an area that is well understood geologically, with shallow targets rapidly accessed by RC drilling. It will be difficult to miss the targets, since they are likely to be very extensive in area.

I'm sure that KAV management know that they have to hit actual economic mineralisation this year, rather than just generating interesting future studies for PhD theses, the KCB is the fastest way to achieve this.

Problem is that Fine Gael + Sinn Féin + Greens = 79 seats, which is 1 short of a majority.. Without the support of Labour or Social Democrats (both unlikely) or a bunch of independents, the supposed new coalition would be in exactly the same precarious position as the current one. If there is a general election things would probably change, since Sinn Féin appear to be growing in popularity and are likely to become the largest party. However things pan out, the Greens (who currently hold 10 seats) are still likely to be needed in a new coalition, and will continue to clog up decision making.
But it's Ireland, so something completely unexpected could happen at any time :-)

OTC volume is always low: Yahoo Finance gives daily average of 84K. Yesterday was 130K, with a closing price of $0.0495, which is indeed over +90%. There was a similar, if less pronounced 'pop' on May 20th, when the Ditau 'zone of interest' photos were published. Let's see what happens Friday morning UK time.

TW: Since you nose around these BBs using multiple names incorporating 'sp' 'prophets' and '2000', perhaps you would like to inform us:
1/. Of your side of the stories with regard to the many allegations of illegal and unethical behaviour that appear in your Wikipedia entry and multiple places elsewhere.

CT - We are talking specifically about the KSZ. I don't recall seeing any interesting or uninteresting cores from there this year.
