this study reckons India covid deaths probably much as 10 X "official" figures...extrapolate across the rest of Asia and hence Unilever's problems. Maybe Unilever's performance more reliable guide to Covid in Asia than any official data.

Statistics, damned statistics and lies….UK government has added Covid -19 contribution to far higher number of deaths than is done elsewhere in Europe; vaccination rates in UK are accurate…French give double vaccination certificates to anyone who has had Covid( viz: have antibodies) plus one vaccine….not quite the same, is it? Spiegelhalter said way back at the beginning of all this that no statistic / commentary is safe until 5 years have elapsed. Ditto pointless inquiries and waste of taxpayers’ money until then…IMHO.
