On a company value at 85 million 1.2 million profit contract would be a massive contract win if they got there 2%

A lot of risk With 310 million debt with more losses to come and they had wanted to sell living that made 1/3 of the profit and asking lenders to relax the lending criteria with more losses likely to come and possible another share right issue that could dilute shares by who knows maybe 80%+ at a guess. with less profit and debt that is starting to strangle them.

With companies like costain GFRD snipping at there heals for any of that work for 2% profits or less and with money in the bank will make it harder.
I thought a merger between KIER COSTAIN GFRD would be a good idea.
Kier brings big contracts and debt 310 million debt
costain brings smaller money-making contracts and 120 million cash
GFRD brings smaller money-making contracts and 195 million cash
= far stronger bigger company with no debt and good profits and huge savings on the management structure.

I know unemployment is going to be bad after October this will cause an impact but hoping things will improve by January February.
I think the BARC price is suppressed due to all the risk but for me, it is not if but when will the share price recover.
I think the BREXIT deal will happen there be some botch job at the last minute can already see the UK and the EU compromising on their positions.
I think the vaccine will only be a matter of time so many are entering phase 3 trials I reckon a few will be completed this year and some early next year.

£1 looks possible today.
All we need is on the 23rd good results for the quarter and the IB to do fairly well.
A brexit deal would be a bonus and then with a vaccine and this would take off like a rocket.

I do not like stop losses tho my trades do not have that option My fear would be some real bad news comes out stock drops 50% on open and the sell goes through before the panic ends and it closes a lot higher tho I am no expert on stop-losses never had so never used.
Best buys are just as bad did that for a long time with some success until I got a bad result on a low volume stock never again all ways fix price now unless I want a fast sale on a high volume stock.

Hi, MrAlt I also like your views tho I do not always agree.
I have bet heavily on BARC my total funds' profit line is around 72p below this and it starts to get painful but I am still confident of my 150+ target in time and my 112 to regain my lost profits.
I guess where you are heavily invested you have to be positive or there no point in holding and you should sell and find something else.
When I look at the fundamentals I see a really good future I don,t think there are many that will beat BARC at the moment for long-term returns.
Where barc is beaten is returns now and short term.
Everyday week month that passes we get nearer the turning point of the financial tide.

I personally think that if Q3 and Q4 can cover it and the CET1 stays where it is and bad loans are covered the 9p will remain.
Mr stan is under a lot of pressure I would imagine.
Even if it is cut at the start of 2021 I think by the end we would be looking at 10p+ for 2022 depending on many factors.
If CET1 gets to near 15% or 16% and still making 4 billion-plus we could be looking at huge dividends and share buybacks.

Barc is known for holding onto there cash.
Without PPI or the virus and Brexit, BARC could make around 6 billion in normal times say around 4 billion after-tax and Other Equity that like 25% from the market value so a 9P would = 1.6 billion so easily covered.
If the IB carries on doing well and it was not just down to the volatile of the first half of the year we could even see 6 billion after-tax in 2021/2022.
