Easily Sumo - the same thing happened with SLP for months and months - the sp slipped as the fundamentals improved. Once something grabs the interest of 'investors' the price can overshoot disproportionately in just the same way as it undershoots. Long and strong is the way - Buffet like investing. Is it cheep - yes - then buy and buy and wait and wait. Suddenly you are rewarded. Got 20 months worth of waiting left in me before I liquidate everything. Should be plenty of time.

Hi sumo - I would doubt that Tjate is being discussed as a possibility - I think Colin and Leon have said that there isn't the appetite for developing new PGM mines amongst investors. A sustained rise above $1000 for platinum might set the rumours off. Meanwhile more ounces of pgm's being produced right now with Eland and Hernic and further stockpiling at DCM all with a higher basket price - Leon states that this extra income means that Kabwe is financed through to production in his last interview. Revenues set to increase many fold as Kabwe is brought on stream alongside DCM, Hernic and Eland plus platcro income.

My rule of thumb for Tjate to add value to the sp is $1400 platinum and $600 palladium. Given the 2:1 aprox platinum to palladium ratio, then every $200 extra for palladium knocks off $100 for platinum. So $1400 palladium and $1000 for platinum should bring value for Tjate back into the sp. Just my opinion based on over 10 years as an interested party here.
($1600 palladium and $1400 platinum - a long way off admittedly - would add 10p to 30p to the sp I would think - as I say - a long way off).

Yep - all the positive news - platinum and Rhodium up significantly, the Sable deal gone through - it all makes no difference to the sp. Sentiment is what matters - when the crowd get wind of the bargain on offer and they convince others and it spreads - then we will see the rise - still waiting - patiently.

personally going for 80% chance of success and 20% fail. So topping up is probably a good idea.

Yes CB's history at JLP and the folks blaming CB or Leon for dilution as was their want all ring true EyeGuy. It's what makes me wary. Got to agree with Tiger that an offtake with JLp is as good as a done deal as you are going to get. The time scale for licence and start up and cash raise and method of cash raise are all potential pitfalls or opportunities for sp rise depending on how you see it.

My eyes are on cash burn versus progress. My rule of thumb for mining (having been involved since I was 19 (nearly 40 years) is it takes 2 to 3 times as long as planned and costs 2 to 3 times as much as first touted. Potential returns even for 3x the outlay Colin puts forward are very very good. GLA.

Agree TT I think equity is the way forward. The 3rd option put forward by Tiger is interesting - a bit of a catch 22 position - without finance Star Zinc is worthless but if a bank puts up finance with Star Zinc as the guarantee then it becomes worth something due to their backing. In effect they are providing their own security.
Dilution here will be good if it finances GLR through to production and not just to keep the company going for another 12 months of paying out directors fees and other overheads. i.e. a sizeable placing in a once and for all cash raise will give this company the value that investors are talking about - an agreement with JLP is surely needed first along with a licence before the cash can be raised. A decent gamble at the moment but not an investment for me. If betting good luck but don't bet your house just yet. Let's hope the early Bird catches the worm for those building a stake.

Yes Tiger news flow should hopefully be positive. Eland figures will be interesting if not that revealing as we must be in ramp up stage. Fine chrome front has gone quiet so hopefully some news on roll out to other sites and some reliable figures for production. As for other news, as far as JLP is concerned, I would prefer to see news on DCM pgm's before any GLR agreement. The GLR agreement is of minor interest as Leon said in his last interview, we have enough of our own material without bringing in secondary material from elsewhere. Sweetening the mix is one possible positive for a GLR agreement and increasing Sable longevity but there's no rush on JLP's behalf. I see it as a win win position for JLP and GLR but with 90% of the win for GLR as it is fundamental to the company's prospects. I see your reason for having a foot in both camps. Good luck with both.

JLP have put back Zinc production until quarter 2 2020 so I think Total Trader is right in that a cash placement will be needed before then for GLR. This will need to provide working capital (directors wages and expenses etc) plus the cost of setting up at Star Zinc plus licence costs etc. With an offtake agreement with JLP (done deal according to Colin's slip in interview) revenue from there will be at least a year from now. Total cash needed to be raised say £500,000 expenses plus 1.5 million set up costs. Raising 2 million should be possible given the resource but at what discount to what prevailing price, who knows. Colin says that there is an offtake agreement with JLP well er building towards one anyway - I think that's positive for GLR.
Leon is laid back about Star Zinc - he says we have enough with our own material plus locally mined copper to fully utilise our newly acquired plant but it looks like Star Zinc may get a look in.
Revenues going well from Northam deal and Leon says our revenues will increase by several multiples in the next 12 months. Also all Kabwe expenditure to be met through existing revenue.
JLP - you need to trust Leon to deliver and there is no need to raise cash.
GLR - you need to trust CB to deliver and there may be a need to raise cash.
My money is 100% on JLP at the moment but a nice rise to 5p or 6p could see me take some profits and put a little bit on GLR, especially if cash raise is behind them. Each to their own. Hold JLP and trade GLR? it's up to you but I think JLP will be attracting more institutional holders now there are 2 brokers so sticking where I am at the moment.

Usual story - nothing has changed for a couple of months but the touters and hypers spread the word and ramp the sp.
The rns comes out saying that nothing has changed (except the report which was verbal has now been typed up) and the hypers sell and disappear. Going quiet now and as others have said - if you believe in Colin's Star Zinc story - the time to 'invest' will be soon. i.e. when it is quiet.
Negatives - no licence, little cash, no agreement, overheads eating away at cash.
Positives - Kabwe on hand, low cost, potential high returns, further resources to exploit.

Good to see an alternative view Jammer. How about JLP purchase 1.5 million quids worth of new GLR shares (33% ownership) and the cash is used to get Star Zinc up and producing? plenty of ways to skin a cat - as always the cat will be skinned in a way that benefits the CEO. How about promise and promise and raise and spend and keep taking the salary for another couple of years - that could happen too - seen it quite a few times. Place your bets and spin the wheel.

I think JLP should steer well clear of mining Tiger - there's plenty of profit in the waste without taking risks.
Enjoying watching Colin's performance with GLR - he is working his magic - spinning the story like a good un.
Just released an RNS that repeats what he announced in a previous RNS - the JORC is still inferred (i.e. of poor reliability) and he still hasn't applied for a mining licence yet and he hasn't stated where the cash is coming from to get it all up and running.
The 'investors', there have done a good job hyping it up and Colin knows that this RNS will get them more excited despite it announcing that nothing has happened for the past 2 to 3 months.

Share price was too low for Colin to get his placing away but it must be getting close now. Raise 1.5 million to finance through to production perhaps? Needs to get on with that application or Kabwe will be well underway before the first sod is cut at Star Zinc. Good luck to all involved - interested onlooker!

PIs will pay a premium for the thrill of the drill mcb77 - SAVP's turn is coming for that and fairly soon.

It has taken a long time but we now finally seem to be on course for the 70p to 90p target area. 35p and 42p will provide stiff resistance for the traders to work with. 35p by Christmas would seem to be easily within our grasp in spite of damaged sentiment.

Thought you were going to keep off here. What is the point of ramping GLR on here when all you do is be rude to people and expose yourself as a person of low intellect.
Anyone considering buying GLR shares are likely to be put off when a total re*ard like you is invested in them.
