RE: Hernic25 Oct 2019 18:31
Originally DCM and Hernic contained "in excess of 4.5 million tonnes of pgm bearing material. 800,000 tonnes were at DCM, leaving 3.7 million + at Hernic estimated.
Further detail was added as below.
From 25th March 2015:
"PLATINUM SURFACE PROJECTS
Further to the conclusion of the HOA with Hernic, the surface materials have been drilled with 1.7 million tonnes being classified as a Measured Resource, under the SAMREC code, in a Resources Statement produced by SRK Consulting. A further estimated 2.5 million tonnes of material was drilled by Hernic."
This is now reported as 1.7 million tonnes measured resource and 3 million other which I assume is the 2.5 million drilled by Hernic plus the fresh material added in the intervening period.
So after amateur detective work (always needed with JLP) we have at the current time at the site formerly known as hernic:
630,000 tonnes containing only fine chrome +1.07 mt measured resource containing coarse chrome, pgms and fine chrome 2.5 mt drilled but not measured (to industry standards) + 0.5 mt fresh stuff?
Anyone want to correct this. Looks like we have more than the 4 years you suggest Billy but what exactly we have bought I am not sure of. certainly there is plenty of chrome when we do a deal on that as well as pgm's. In short your figures probably underestimate the benefits of the $5 million deal.
The market likes it.p.s. pgm's on floor at DCM +chrome being churned out at Windsor and pgm's being produced for us by Northam at Eland and copper production ramping up at Kabwe and future earnings from vanadium, zinc and lead at Kabwe will dwarf all of this. This time next year ……...
